The Long Winter hit Connor and his family hard, but they survived by eating small game like rabbit and even rat sometimes. Connor, his mother and a few more villagers, fled their small homes and took refuge in the ruins of Riverrun. There they have made their living during the cold winter, only having to deal with a few bandits at times. He and some of the other villagers have begun building small houses, using stone from the destroyed walls. The winter still proved itself the victor, as it has claimed most of the villagers that came here, only a handful of the young boys and girls is still alive.
Connor styled himself Master of Riverrun, since he was the only one with Tully blood running in his veins until Lord Oswell Tully revisited the ruin. After the Heroes of Winter returned Connor began to help rebuild is makeshift home at the behest of Lord Tully. He was taken on as a student to the castellan and learned of the arts of war and lording. Connor was eventually legitimized by Queen Rhaenys Targaryen and received Riverrun as his own castle after Lord Tully became Lord Protector of the Hightower and it’s lands.
After Oswell Tully was killed during the Great War Connor became the last living member of House Tully. He fought alongside Oswell’s men and Lord Euric Dayne and soon gained the respect of both his own men and the lords he met. After the War Connor returned to Riverrun to a Mallister bride and now rules over his lands with a fair but iron hand. He regularly goes among the smallfolk to how his care, and always personally hears their petitions. Connor has filled the halls of Riverrun with four children, though only one of them bears the characteristic red hair of the Tully line. Connor has spent the past twenty years as Lord of Riverrun well, fortifying his walls and seeing to it that the people of his lands are kept safe and happy through the troubles of recent years. After the death of his first son Oswell, Connor went into a deep state of mourning and was barely ever seen outside his solar. The birth of his youngest daughter brought him out of his depression, and he was soon seen laughing and joking with his men.
Though many lords of the realm feared the Trio, Connor welcomed them to his hall when it came to him to hold the Royal Court. Connor performed his duties as he was charged and when the Three Great Lords left his hall he welcomed them to return when they saw fit.
Character Physical Description:
Connor is of average height with a slim and built body. He has short chestnut brown hair and his eyes are hazel, situated underneath a pair of bushy eyebrows. Connor prefers the drab brown tunics to the silken fabrics; and can be seen working alongside his men on repairs and improvements. Connor sports a well-groomed beard of brown that covers a long scar received by an enemy spear during the Great War.
Character Reputation:
Connor is known as a fair but hard man. After the Great War he returned a battle-hardened commander and typically leads small ands of men against bandits within the woods of the Riverlands. The smallfolk see him as a beacon of justice, for he will not meet out punishment before hearing the whole of a story. The servants of Riverrun known Connor to be a kind father, though he trains his two young sons with sword and lance with no sympathy.
