Never before has the fate of an entire kingdom been decided by champions. It was on this day when King Rodrick and six loyal companions defeated the representatives of four kingdoms in single combat, proving that the Seven supported the King, and his line against all challengers.
Two teams of seven warriors will face off on a field and fight until one side capitulates. Standard melee rules will apply in every way.
At the feast of the night before, the King and his Hand, Lord Thatcher will each draft a team of seven warriors to fight for their honor the next day.

The two teams walk slowly out to face one another. Lined North to south, they await the signal to begin. The sun glints off their weapons, and Rickon Ball makes a rather rude gesture.
The banner drops, and the two teams charge at one another.

Howard Thorne crashes into Redfort. The man exchange blows, but effective shield work protects both of them from harm.
Prince Daeron reaches Conwell quickly, and smashes a strong blow into the Lannister's side. Conwell stumbles, but does not fall.
Rickon Ball charged Tito Brax, and had him at a disadvantage, until he was flanked by Aerion Varner. The White Weasel seemingly appearing out of no where, to strike at Ball. Some how Rickon is able to hold off both men, and deal damage to them.
The Knight of the Sun approaches Prince Maekar slowly, and with the flick of his wrist disarms the Targaryen prince. As Maekar leaps for his weapon, the Sun Knight steps Forward and falls to the ground. Prince Maeakar is eliminated.
Owen Lannister and Ned Flowers battle hard against one another. Their weapons moving at a blur on the field. Finally Owen slips a light through Ned's defenses, but they do not pause in their duel.
Tomas Thatcher ran forward to discover Aerion Varner missing, so he turned his attention to Wode. Duncon sees Royce, and Thatcher approaching, and tries to retreat, but Thatcher sneaks in a powerful blow, and as Wode starts to fall Royce steps forward and knocks him from the battle.

Thorne leaps at Redfort, and Redfort blocks him back. Redfort spins and sees two of his team members are done. He realizes he needs to put Howard down, and fast. Turning back to his opponent, Jon launches a barrage of attacks, and the last three all score home. Thone flops over from a brutal strike to his head. What no one know until after the match has finished, is that Thorne's neck broke, and the man died out on that field.
Conwell responds to Daeron's attacks, and manages to get in a strong strike against the Prince, stalling any out come of this fight.
Rickon Ball is a fucking monster. Brax and Varner are both pummeling him from two sides, and not only does Ball manage to fend off every blow, but he turns it back on them. Landing a ringing hit to Varner's arm, and a crushing blow to Brax's head. Tito falls unconscious.
Ball may be a monster, but Ned Flowers is in entirely another world. Because of his stutter gangs of children used to attack him as a child, so being out numbered and alone has never phased this Knight, and he shows it today. Thatcher, Royce, Owen, and the Mystery Knight all attack him, and he fends off of strike. Shrugging off minor blows like they were merely rain, and blocking the heavier ones on his shield, Ned begins to turn the fight on his opponents. He knocks Royce out with a casual back hand, and manages to land a blow on both the Sun Knight, and Thatcher. Only Owen manages to evade any damage from his white brother.

Conwell maintains his rally, knocking Prince Daeron back further and further. One of his blows slip by and marks the Targaryen armor.
The White Weasel seems to fight better alone, and he manages to land a strike to Ball finally, marring the other's armor.
Lord Redfort charged into the mass around Flowers, and ended up facing the Sun Knight. He slips a strike through the other man's defenses, but Sun Knight does not fall.
Ned still has two opponents, and Owen Lannister is a legend in his own right. Owen proves it now by landing another strike to Flowers'. Thatcher is out matched by Ned though, and takes another hit.

Conwell Lannister continues his barrage of attacks, and knocks Prince Daeron from the trial. He turns to face the rest of the battle.
Ball beomces enraged about the blow Aerion was finally able to land, and counter attacks savagely. It takes several blows, but finally he is able to knock Varner from the battle. He pauses just long enough to spit on the Weasal sigil, before looking up at Lannsiter, and grinning.
Lord Redfort, and the Knight of the Sun attack one another, but their hearts are not in it. They both seek to build some energy for futures attacks.
Ned Flowers is still lightning quick, and he manages to knock Thatcher from the bout. In doing so he exposes himself to an attack from Owen, and he is hurt for it.

Ball roars with laughter and contemptuously throws an attack at Lannister. The Manderman is very surprised then the Lion is not where he expects, and even more shocked, when he sees Conwell's counter strike connect with his chest.
The Mystery knight spins, and attacks Redfort, but Jon blocks, and moves forward knocking the man off his feet. It takes a single blow to eliminate the Sun Knight from battle.
Ned Flowers, and Owen Lannsiter slowly circle one another. Each batting away the attacks from the other. It slowly dawns on Owen that this now a real fight.

Owen feels the two men rushing toward his rear. He managed to knock Flowers back, and then hit him hard enough to make him crumple.
Spinning he sees his brother first. Throwing up a hasty defense, he readys an attack, but Conwell's hit drives home, and staggers Owen. Then Redfort arrives, and strikes the King's Guard hard across the shoulders. OWen falls.
Lord Jon Redfort, and Lord Conwell Lannister control the field.
