Rhaegar smiles. "Curiosity killed the cat, Arry. Besides, it is strange. Every girl dreams of getting married. Even more believe it their duty to their house; I'm proud to know that you are defiant to every last hair," he laughed, brushing away the stray hair with a finger that fell across her face.

"Comon, tell me," she nudged him. "Hearing of it and seeing it are two different things. Becca won't tell me of her costume either." She pouted.

"Defiant, but pouting," Rhaegar smiled. "You're stronger than that. We shall surprise each other, then," he offered. "And it's likely Becca's costume doesn't consist of much at all," he jested.

"Or she'll be completely covered." She nudged him again, "But of transparent fabric. She definately knows how to grab attention."

"I thought she told you nothing of her garb," Rhaegar smiled. "Do you plan on 'grabbing attention'? I'm thinking Becca may have an influence over you," he said suspiciously.

"It's only a guess that I have and she's going to help me pick out my dress for the Dornish feast because I do plan on getting some attention. I admire her to an extent. She is fearless."

"Fearless, though I don't think many have a high respect for her tastes," he shrugged. "She seems bored to me. Are you bored here in the Capital?"

"She seems to be having fun to me. And I myself am not bored at all. It is just a weakness in women that they are jealous of those other women that get the attention of men, no matter if she is tasteful or no. I am respected I think, but have any men asked me for my favour? No only two young men, who I'm not sure I even like."

"There is good attention and bad attention, Aryanna. Should one, like Becca, walk into a feast wearing near nothing, you are guaranteed to get attention and drooling mouths. But if it is not necessarily the attention you may be seeking," he advised.

She shrugged her shoulders. "Some is better than none at all. I don't seek everyone's attention anyway. I know I'm not as pleasing as her anyway. Let's talk about something else please."

Rhaegar smiled. "Very well, though I don't believe you would have any trouble getting a man's attention, Arry," he piped in quickly. "But on the next subject, how is father doing?"

"Fine, he is quiet and mostly keeps to himself. He's usually in a friendly mood to take on new students. But between you and me, I'm not sure if I am as close with his new wife's sons as I am with ..." She didn't want to mention her mother's own name.

"I do not blame you. We were all very close as children, and it would take a lot for somebody else to overcome that," he smiled. "I barely know our other sister," he frowned.

"They're still our family so I sort of feel bad. But I don't feel as close a connection. Perhaps with more time we will all get closer." Ary shrugged her small shoulders and felt like sitting on a lavish couch, one that was conveniently perched in front of her bed. She moved to it and sat on it, arranging cushions around her. "Though to be fair, I have not seen much of our family since I am with the Queen so often, for me the other ladies and the Queen are like another family for me."

"I see," Rhaegar said plainly. He regretted not being around as much. Some part of him told him they still needed him, though the other more dominant part told him he was foolish and they could take care of themselves now.
"Tell me more," he said reclining in his own chair, putting his feet up on another.
