He nodded, and took the child from her arms. "This one will be an intelligent man. He has eyes for it. They are watchful."

[Helyn Caron]

'Hes a good boy, cries little, unlike Vaen. He has your eyes as well,' Anni smiled at her son in his fathers arms. 'How are things at home?'

[Fel]

"The first harvest and storing is under-way. Winter is still a long way away, but if this season continues to be as bountiful during the next few years, we can expect to face an easier time waiting on Spring."

"And what of affairs in the city? How are Joanna and Daemon?"

[Helyn Caron]

'Joanna and Daemon are well enough my dear, Prince Selwyn is a beautiful baby. I spend a lot of time with Joanna, She is good to me, she looked after me well after Sebastian was born, i was unwell for some weeks.'

[Fel]

Maekar nodded, his eyes glancing outside the window.

"That is good. I'm glad my sister was there for you. You seem to have developed a close bond."

[Helyn Caron]

'What is the matter my dear, you keep looking outside, have i come at a bad time?'

[Fel]

"Have I been?" he asked. "I had not noticed. No, I have no demands on my time while I am in the city. In fact I am finding myself somewhat restless."

[Helyn Caron]

'I am sorry to have pulled you away from home.' She smiled. 'I had no way of returning in time for the birth, i did try but Queen Joanna would not let me. Why dont you come visit me more, I have greatly missed your company.'

[Fel]

"It would not have been safe for you to make the journey to the Vale in your condition. The birth was premature, there is little chance Sebastian would have survived had he come while you were travelling, with no maester present."

"The Eyrie is a long way away, I cannot be constantly travelling back and forth between it and the city, my dear, you know this."

[Helyn Caron]

'I mean whilst you are here, i do not expect you to keep returning, the only reason you were called now is because i could not return to you.' She sighed. 'I was hoping we could spend some more time whilst you are still here, maybe you wont be so restless then.'

[Fel]

Maekar nodded, "of course, that is the purpose of my visit, provided your duties do not conflict."

[Helyn Caron]

'It wont do, Joanna gives me alot of freedom.' She smiled. 'You know Kings landing better than i ever could, you should show me around some time.'

[Fel]

"As you wish," he said, rising and putting out his arm for her to take.

[Helyn Caron]

She stood and took his arm. 'Are you ok with Sebastian or would you like me to take him back?'

[Fel]

"One of the servants will carry him behind us while we walk," he said, summoning the a serving girl to hold the babe. Then, flanked by several guardsmen they left the manse into the streets of King's Landing.
