Kenneth dodges the staff swinging at his head, as he rears up his horse. When he comes back down he brings his blade with him, lopping off the highwayman's ear, and part of his cheek. He wheeled the horse around and it the beast kicked the other highwayman square in the chest, knocking him back. the Dwarf flailed about with his dagger, but didn't land a blow.

Kenneth impaled the man who the horse had kicked, and saw the light go out of his eyes. The one-earred man swung his staff again, and smashed Coyn in the shoulder. Biggs however, was struggling, his opponent smashed him hard with the staff, and knocked him from his pony. He fell to the ground with an omph.

Coyn brings his blade down again, and takes the man's left arm off at the elbow, He screams in pain and horror, and turns to flee. Biggs gets in underneath the other man's staff with his dagger, and slashes his belly. That man, seeing his partner abandoning him, also turns to flee.
