"That's my cousin," said the captain, pointing to one of the men, as one of his own guards runs off toward the castle. Several knights who were sparring in the training-yard near the gate stop their activity and turn to watch the exchange. "It may be that these men are waiting for judgement but a knight of Storm's End is not to be paraded around in chains like a common criminal. Strike off those fetters, my lord," he said.

Ser Locke of the Kingsguard strides over, with twenty Traitor's Sons, Five of the Dornish knights who arrived with Princess Ariadne are also starting to hover nearby.
"What in the name of sweet maiden buggery is going on over here?" Locke yells, "milord," he adds to Wyl, after he notices him.

Steffon comes striding over, having outpaced the guard who'd been sent to find him, and surveyed the crowd that was gathering at his gate. "I'll handle this, Ser," he said to the Knight of the Kingsguard, before turning to his guard.
"What's going on here, Jarmen?"
"These Dornish're tryin to bring in prisoners, they're our men!"
Steffon looked over at Lord Wyl. "What is the meaning of this, Wyl?"

Locke looked at Lord Steffon but did not speak.
"These men are the raiders we captured in Dorne, Lord Steffon. We are here to present them to the King's Justice. I believe Princess Ariadne has told the King that this was our intention. We will bring them before the King."

"These are my men, Lord Darien, not common outlaws. Surely you can tell the difference between a knight and bandit?" Steffon asked

"No milord, you are mistaken," Wyl replies, "Thes men are wearing Dornish arms and armor, and were captured on my lands. Unless... you are confessing to having men on my lands raiding and pillaging?" Wyl gives a look of mock confusion.
"Milord.. this is not the place for this," Locke says sternly, "The Sons will take custody of these prisoners until the King's Court reconvenes."

"Very well, Locke, take them. Ser Tomas here will escort you to the dungeons," Steffon said waving one of his men forward.
"I have had men in your land, Wyl, searching for the Vulture King who raids my land and then hides in yours with impunity," Steffon replied. "Are these men his?"

"The Vulture King's? I suppose it is possible Lord Steffon. But that would mean... that the Vulture King's men are not really Dornish at all, but Stormlanders, only pretending to be Dornish. As these men were dressed, pretending to be Dornish. Do you think your men would do such a thing without your knowledge?" Wyl asks?

"I can think of one or two men who would act thusly without my orders. You caught these men burning your lands, then?" he asked.

"They were on our lands, riding away from an area which had recently been attacked. I am sure the King will give us justice, do not worry yourself," Lord Wyl says. Locke looks around and snorts in disgust at lords in general, and his men march the prisoners away towards the cells.

"You will find my brother in the Great Hall, Wyl, court will reconvene at his convenience," Steffon said. He turned away without waiting for a reply, and followed after Locke. When they were inside the castle, heading to the dungeons, he stepped up to the White Knight.
"Locke, my men will take them from here. I've some questions that I need to ask these men," he said.

Locke shook his head, "Don't think I can do that, Lord Steffon. These men are the King's prisoners now. Speak to Lord Maekar or his grace."

"This is my dungeon," he replied irritably. "My brother Maekar does not dictate who I may or may not speak with whilst in Storm's End."

"King's courts, King's prisoners, Kingsguard." Locke says, "So... 'fraid not milord. Speak to his grace. King says do it I'll do it."

Steffon nodded. "Very well, Ser," he said, and turned to leave.
