The King and his Queen have arranged stands well outside of the city, and they are lightly crowded as people look below at the starting, and finishing line.
The King leans back easily, his hand holding his Queens, as he makes small talk with Ser Owen Lannister. Pages, and servants scuttle all about, and Steward Linton stands at the Starting Line taking the names of all who enter the event.

Ser Tybolt Wylde arrived on his mount Whirlwind. He saluted the king, and dismounted easily. Walking over he told the steward, "Ser Tybot Wylde will be winning this event, fat man."
The large steward frowned, but jotted down the man's name.

Ser Howard Thorne arrives next to steward Linton. "Howard Thorne, Ser." He says in his gruff voice.

Arya sits by the queen with the other ladies and looks down at the rider's with interest. "Who do you think will win Aerie?" She turned from the riders to look at Aerie and fixed her hat while waiting for a reply.

The Queen holds up a silk handkerchief, and as the riders watch tense, she slowly lowers it to her side. And they flew from the starting line. The first part of the track was a straight away through lush grass of the crownlands.

Lord Barristan Dawnrose: 60 + 19 = 79 + 0 = 79
Lord Rhaegar Targaryen: 60 + 95 = 155 + 0 = 155
Ser Beric Dayne: 60 + 50 = 110 + 0 = 110
Sojen Manderly: 50 + 63 = 113 + 0 = 113
Ser Mors Ladybright: 70 + 36 = 106 + 0 = 106
Lord Jon Redfort: 60 + 20 = 80 + 0 = 80

Immediately Ser Wylde takes off fast as a dart. His steed pounding away from all the rest. Lord Rhaegar was on his tail closely, screaming for his mount to go fast, and Templeton right behind them whipping is mount hard.
Most everyone else is clumped up right behind, with Dawnrose and Thorne tied in last place.
