Yohn nodded, "That we can."

"We?" Rhaenys queried. "Who else is here?"

"My friends." Yohn replied. "They are quite shy. They fear meeting you, so hiding they will remain."

"Alright. Do you have ravens here so that we might send letters to one another?"

Yohn shook his head, "We have ravens, crows, hawks, doves and sparrows, and all are my messengers." He paused before adding, "I do not think you have the same options as I."

"Well, I thought if I left here for Harrenhal you would be able to send a bird to tell me when Ela is fit to fly. I was also hoping I might be able to send my sister and goodbrother a letter to warn of my arrival."

Yohn shook his head, "It would not matter. You can not return to this island if you leave."

"Why not?" Rhaenys asked. "No-one stopped me from coming here."

"When you return, no one will be able to impede the consequences. Andals are not allowed on this island. Only your mixed blood, and my friendship granted you life." Yohn said.

"Oh," seh said, stunned. "Then I must wait until Ela is fit enough to fly. She's blind so she cannot be permitted to fly alone. Can you help me to send a letter to Kyma and Talyn then, to tell them that I am here and safe but will join them soon? And what of Milo? I might send him to Harrenhal in the boat while I remain here to care for Ela."

"Some one else has paid the fair for Milo." Yohn smiled, "If you write up a letter, I will see it delivered to your family." He stared out into the darkness.

"Thank you. I must make haste to leave as soon as Ela is fit to fly, but you will always have my gratitude if you and your people can feed the both of us until then," Rhaenys said with a smile. "I am pleased to have an uncle who is willing to claim me as his kinswoman. Mother's other kin have given me much trouble."

"A simple hermit has less prejudices then a Lord." Yohn smiled, "Your children are well."

In the panic of leaving, Rhaenys realised with a pang of guilt that she had forgotten about the children.
"What do you know about my children?" She asked. "They could be anywhere by now?"

"You dropped for golden dragons. Two were scooped up by white hawks and flown to your sister. And two were scooped up by an Iron Gauntlet and put carefully into his purse." Yohn replied.
