"It is not his spirit I am concerned with presently" Benfry said, narrowing his eyes.
He spots King Rickon and pushes his way past towards him "I believe it's time you took your leave, your majesty" he said through gritted teeth

"Lord Regent!" Erik calls from his alcove, "Sit and have a drink! I would recommend a girl, as well, but don't you have oaths against that sort of thing?"

Rickon looks at Benfry and frownds, "Lord Smith. I was just asking Lady Flagrave to give me her blade. I will just be one moment more."

Aerie's mouth twitched, the tightness of her jaw threatening to crush her molars to a furious powder. She wanted to pick him up and shake the fool boy's head off, if only she had the authority. As she struggled to calm her roiling loathing, Benfry walked quickly towards them, looking not too happy. Aerie wanted to snap his head off as well.
She feigned a convincing smile. "Ser Benfry, I hope you are well?" she commented, desperately buying time.

Dacey was desperate not to have a scene in her inn, yet at the same time she knew it would cause fine gossip, and gossip generated glamor and business. She hesitated, torn.
"Leave the King and come have a drink with Lord Coldiron," she said, with a cheerful smile. "Come, Lord Commander, this is not as bad a place as you think. And we have the most excellent wines, as Lady Falgrave and Lord Coldiron can assure you."

"Indeed, ser! I can attest that it is, in fact, wine!"

She feigned a convincing smile. "Ser Benfry, I hope you are well?" she commented, desperately buying time. Benfry gritted his teeth "I am well enough, Lady Falgrave. I trust your child and Lord Seth are well?" he said, shooting dark glances at King Rickon but unwilling to shame them both by causing more of a scene

In a quiet corner of the Avalon, Mad Alliser Redfort was snorting a line of white powder.

Though her expression was calm, her eyes harbored all the intense bitterness of her being. One after the other, everything was falling apart. Fucking Callen Baratheon. He had started it all, and helped give life to the demon spawn that stood with increasing firmness before her. "It is nice how our children grow up so quickly these days, is it not?" she said, giving a giggling whore in a corner a pointed glance.

A tall knight with an elegant brown moustache, resplendent in old but highly polished plate armor, enters the establishment. A longsword hangs at his side and a kite shield is fixed across his back. It bears the design of a lobster, gold on white.
"Fine maiden," the knight hails the nearest whore, "I desire a glass of your finest wine from the fabled vinyards of the Arbor."

The girl smiled at him and murmured, "Of course, ser. Have you thought to have our powders too?" She drew him in.
From the corner, a slender knight, with a comely face that never aged, looked up. He wore a surcoat with the arms of House Redfort on it, and cream breeches with fastidiously polished leather boots.
"I have the finest wine right here," Mad Alliser said, looking at the knight's kite shield with avid interest. "If you'll tell me your name and explain your arms, good ser, I just might be able to share some of this fine Arbor gold with you." He tapped the bottle on his table.

The knight looks somehow affronted by Alliser, though he sits down at his table anyways. "Come now, Ser," the knight says, indignant, "Surely you jest. From the sandy beaches of Dorne to the snowy mountains beyond the wall, all know the Knight of the Golden Lobster. My name is Ser Mimseval of Millsbrook, though you are permitted to call me 'Mim'."

Mad Alliser looked sheepish. "Forgive me, good ser! I am Ser Alliser Redfort, the Knight of the Cow. Here, let me make up for my ignorance by sharing my wine with you." He waved away the approaching barmaid and served his own Arbor gold to Ser Mimseval.
"I have long been pondering on a question, ser. Perhaps you can help me. It is our duty to serve the Seven, and to do that we must serve the Seven's agents on earth. The Warrior has been coming to me in dreams, telling me to do King Baelor the Blessed's will. I have visions of fire and puppies. Lately I have been hearing rumors that strike me as very odd indeed, yet they seem to be tied to my dreams from the gods."

The whores laughed and several converged on him, vying to bed him. Drunk customers gave good tips.
