Talyn stood, and went to the door of the solar,
"No one enters," he told the guards, who nodded, before closing the door.
"your grace, may speak," he said.
[Let's use my solar, password PMed.]

Conwell Lannister is admitted to the solar.
"Ser Conwell, it is something of a surprise to see you again, after your previous departure."

"Ser... I am not yet accorded that honor, my lord." Conwell blushed a little, "I knew not what to do when I heard the realm torn asunder. I feared for my home, and maybe some for myself. I wanted to take counsel with my father and so rode home with what swiftness I could."

"And it was a great degree of swiftness indeed!" Talyn said, with a sly smile, "And I apologize for the misnaming, I did not know that you had not yet stood your vigil. In any case, I am pleased to see that your lord father has agreed to let you rejoin us here, although things have been a little boring of late."

Lord Edmure is admitted. Talyn is reading notation from his scouts.
"Lord Edmure, welcome back. Congratulations on your successful arrest of Lord Mallister, I'll be honest I did not expect him to go easy. Your timing could not have been better, as Lady Beatrice Stark has now declared against the Queen. Lord Eustace's stormlanders have taken up residence here at Harrenhal with us."

"Well what is to be done about Lady Stark. As you sent me that letter I had my brother try to talk to her but it had failed. So what is the plan. Do we go and lay siege to the Moat or let her stay up there and try to hunt the Ironborn."

"So far the Ironborn will remain Lord Eustace's providence, although Lord Euric has captured Seagard, and used its fleet to send Eustace some assistance. I have positioned my man William Hill to observe the entrance to the Neck. I do not like the idea of having to march there, and it is not an area fit for a siege. The water is bad, and there is little to eat unless you are a crannogman. I think we shall need to summon the Vale, and see if they will heed us, and if so, use overwhelming force to break the Moat. I do not like this, but short of ships to ferry our army around it, which we do not have, there is no other way to assault the North."

"That has always been a problem. So if were rallying the Vale that means were going to have to let Aaron out of his hole. So who is going to be holding his leash."

Talyn shook his head, "Aaron does not leave his quarters. Unfortunately with war against the North, it will not be possible to bring him to the Wall just yet I don't believe. And the Vale will rally for us, at least, those who wish to be considered the new Lord Paramount had best do so."

"Keep a close eye on Wydman. He said he was personally friends with Lord Mallister and did not wish to see him dead."

Talyn nodded, "He'll be watched. I'm more then happy to send that traitorous fool to freeze his balls off along the wall as well, if not killing him earns us the Vale's troops."

"But of course the problem with sending any traitor to the Wall that will leave no one to look after the Vale. What of Aaron's younger brother is he to be trusted or has the line gone bad do you think?"

"Armand? We is with the Iron Born, we have put a bounty on his head, now. Which is ironic, because before that, he was the only one we plausibly had no case of treason against." Talyn said, "And Aaron has forsaken his right to the Eyrie and his other legal holdings in any case. His line has been attainted. And there are plenty of Vale lords who may wish to try their name as Lord Paramount, One of them must be selected to lead it."
