After nearly two months of searching, Ser Selwyn Stone comes upon the outriders of Lord Eustace Baratheon and Lord Damian Bolton's joint army, which has been hunting the bandits let by the former Lord Karstark.
Ser Selwyn approaches the men cautiously, and calls out to them proclaiming that he is seeking his cousin, the Hand.

"My lord," Selwyn said with a frown. "There is much amiss in the south, I do not know what you have heard. I fear my brother may be over-reacting, however and I rode north to find you before this situation explodes."

"I heard, your father is arrested." Eustace replied, "And I will deal with that, but first I must find this ghost Karstark. I will not return a failure."

"When I passed the Twins I heard that my brother had called his banners at the Bloody Gate. He fears that the Queen has betrayed Lord Brynden and I fear he may do something rash. Have you had any luck finding Karstark in this gods-forsaken wood?" he asked.

"No. He is a fucking ghost." Eustace emptied his glass in one large swallow, and then turned to look at Selwyn, "I could be here for months. Karstark readily hide from the Others, so I think he can withstand us for awhile, but I will not give up."

"As you say, milord Hand. Do you mind if I remain with your army until you return south? I don't fancy jumping into the middle of a civil war at the moment," Selwyn said.

Eustace nodded, "Of course. I wish Tallbody was here."
