He held out the letter. Beckford could see that it instructed him to quit Starfall and hand it over to Harry then make haste to Kings Landing where the queen would make arrangements to grant him other lands.

Beckford read it and his eyes opened wide. He spun on his heel, and walked toward the keep, "Follow me."

Entering the keep Beckford beckoned over some servants, "Find this man and his men some chambers. He is a messenger from the Queen." He turned an walked away from Grandison.
