Shouldn't the Joust be last, since it is the main event?

The Melee came after the Joust in the books.

Yeah, the joust was first in the books and the melee and archery came after. I couldn't remember which was which without AGOT to hand (having been at work when I wrote that list) but figured the melee had more opportunity to cause injury than the archery so I placed it last. I've had a character miss out on a tourney because she got almost killed in a training fight and was extremely gutted about it. I thought putting the melee last would minimise the risk of something like that happening to someone else.
Horse race was requested by Rowan as I hadn't RPed in a tourney that featured it before. I put it first as it seemed like a nice intro. The sword is my idea so I fitted it in where I thought it would best go i.e. before the more dangerous melee.
