Aranya hugs Lilith hard and, seeing that she is tired, has Perra fetch a heavy shawl and some wine for Lilith. "Piers will come soon," Aranya assured her. Princess Caitlyn is also helped inside
Her eyes darkened when they fell on Seth Falgrave. Not trusting herself to speak to him without hurting him, Aranya instead turns to Damien Vance. "Thank you ser, but it is not necessary. Who are you?" Although she sounded brusque and rude, this was simply Aranya's way of speaking, and she didn't mean discourtesy.

Ser Roland Royce enters the Red Keep seeking the Lord Arryn. He spies Aranya, and to his suprise, Lillith also. He strides over, "It is good to see you both. Do you know where the Lord Arryn may be found?"

"My lady I am the third son of Lord Vance of Wayfarer's Rest. My name is Damien." The young man replied louder than he usually spoke (clear enough to be heard by all of those who were listening).

"We were at the war council," Aranya said to Roland. "We might still need you in there. I expect Lord Arryn and Lord Bettley are still in there."
"You'll have to speak to Lord Blackwood then," Aranya said, nodding to Damien Vance. "Well met. Riverland knights are always welcome, unless their name is Keath."
The gold cloaks escort Lilith Bettley and Princess Caitlyn inside.

Aranya signals brusquely, and the gold cloaks take Seth Falgrave. "You showed some sense in bringing Lady Bettley back unharmed," she said coldly. "You'll be given a tower cell until the small council and the Hand will see you."

"Wonderful. I'm glad you approve of my actions. I am not sure how I would feel if you didn't." Seth muttered as he was taken away.

Lilith felt a rush of joy at the sight Aranya and Roland. "Seeing beloved ones makes me feel like I am finally home," she whispered as she hugged her relatives very hard.
She noticed Seth being taken away and spoke up in his defense, grateful to him for bringing her back alive. "Ser Falgrave was kind to all of us on the journey back, we probably wouldn't be here if it wasn't for his actions," she said to the guards surrounding him and the other notables in the area.

Seth smiles at his former mentor.
"Ironic, isn't it? A two weeks ago, you and I were in the exact opposite position." He laughed sadly. "How are you? Well?"

Aranya hugged Lilith back. "You're safe now, Auntie."
Her face was hard, but she nodded at Lilith's words. "I've never met Falgrave before, but I see he had the honor - or mere good sense - to bring you back. But he is a still a traitor to the crown. He'll be in a tower cell for now, which are meant for those of high birth. Don't worry, Auntie. I'm sure he will be pardoned."

"I wouldn't worry if I were you, about this cell. It is only for a moment. You never even signed the will, and you had no soldiers fight in a battle. I wouldn't even call you traitor," Ser Giles says. "Hero of the Reach, more like. Your move today might save lives. Without these hostages, most lords will likely surrender without a fight."
