The table is set sumptuously with Arborian wines and foods. Ragnor sits at one end of a long table, and many of his captains are also present, having left spaces between them for Maekar's men. A seat is empty to Ragnor's right, plainly for Blackfyre himself.

Maekar arrived and promptly took his seat. He nodded to Ragnor.
"Good evening, Geryjoy."

"Evening, Blackfyre." Ragnor replies, as a thrall fills Maekar's glass.
"Now, we didn't get to touch on personal matters much, earlier. Was Ganieda yet with child, when you left King's Landing?"

"I don't know," Maekar said. "She didn't confide in me. IUt's not the sort of thing a lady tells a knight to whom she is not related. She certainly didn#t look as if she were with child."

"Of course. And no trouble? I know how some of those Dornishmen and Reachmen can get, no regard whatsoever for a marriage."

"No trouble at all," Maekar said. "The queen thinks very highly of Lady Greyjoy."

"Yes, I've noticed. I only hope I can tear Ganieda away before too long, and bring her home."
Ragnor smirks and takes a sip of his wine.
"So, would you like our terms for the Arbor?"

Maeakar doubted Rhaenys would want to lose her new friend but he only shrugged.
"I would. I've no taste for small talk anyway. Naem your terms."

Ragnor snaps his fingers and a thrall carries out a large, unadorned parchment scroll which he unfurls and holds for Maekar's approval. The terms are short, straightforward, and as such:
This being an agreement between the Iron Throne of Westeros and the Lord of the Iron Islands:
All Ironborn shall, within the month, leave The Arbor. They shall never again lay claim to it, nor make war against its people.
The four islands known as The Shields shall henceforth and forevermore be recognized as legitimite possessions of their respective Ironborn lords.
The Iron Throne shall accept Ironborn expansion within the chain of islands known as the Stepstones. It is understood that the Ironborn will not work against any forces of the Seven Kingdoms in these efforts.
"We have another copy, as well. The two of us sign them, you take one back to the Queen, and one returns to Pyke. Fair deal?"

"I can't sign it," Maekar said. "The Queen promised to consider returning the Shields to the Mander lords, if they were willing to make some other sort of concession to you for the return. Would you have Her Grace break her promise?"

"If she must. Queens are not bound to their word as others are." Ragnor answers with a shrug. "The concession is that we leave the Arbor, at any rate. Mandermen, Far Reachmen, what's the difference, truly?"

"They don't see it that way," Maekar said. "The Mandermen won't care for the Arbor. Is there nothing esle yu'd accept?"

"I'll need to discuss it with Farwynd. I was planning on sailing to King's Landing anyway, to collect my wife and child, so I shall speak with the Queen then." Ragnor replies, apparently not worried about the terms. He waves a hand, and the thrall rerolls the treaty and carries it out of the tent.

"But we must have some agreement initially," Maekar said. "Farwynd must be made to leave the Arbor and I beleive the matter of the Stepstones will give no problems whatsoever. It's on ly the Shields that are at issue."
