"Very Well Ser." Donold replied, "All we wait for is orders from Lord Eustace."

"I thought the Queen's representative provided instructions, the Hand has been in the North for month and is almost impossible to get a hold of," Rowan said.

"He did... we just worried about overstepping our bounds. I mean..." Donold studied Trant, "It was his brother. He may... Well... I think..." He stammered and looked away suddenly.

"Your not suggesting that the Lord Hand would raise an army against his Queen?" Rowan says surprised. "With his father's history?" the thought that Eustace would object given his admiration of the Queen seemed unlikely to Rowan. "When was the Raven sent and what did it say?"

Donold hands him a letter with the following orders
Houses Caron, Connington, Wylde and Estermon to raise 1,000 men and march them to Kings Landing, from where they will carry on to Harrenhal.
Houses Buckler, Cafferen, Errol, Fell, Grandison, Mertyns, Morrigen, Peasebury, Penrose, Selmy, Staedmon, Swann, Tarth, Trant and Wylde to raise 100 men and march them to Kings Landing, from where they will carry on to Harrenhal.
"No of course not..." He added hurriedly.

"Well then let us prepare our march to King's Landing and I will see to it that Lord Baratheon is kept abreast of the situation. I am sure he is riding home to meet us in the capital as we speak." Rowan said. I should have said something at the small council Rowan thought I never liked the idea of the Queen and Hand leaving the capital at the same time and now I know why.

The man bowed his head, "Of course. I will send out ravens to the other men immediately."

When the 4500 men of the smaller Stormlords are assembled, Rowan marches them back towards King's Landing.

"Mi Lord," Rowan said with a deep breath signalling he was about to speak really fast.
"We need to raise the remaining men at Storm's end and send word for Wlyde, Connington, Caron and Estermont to assemble their armies here. If we do that we can have close to 10,000 men under you banners."
"We should also send word to Horn Hill and tell Varner and Irwyn that if they march with Caron, the Lords of the Far Reach can pick their own Lord Protector for the Hightower child at Conclave as they have done through out their existence."
edited: boy to child to reflect Tully's actual kinship although not that Rowan would necessarily know or care.

Eustace nodded, "I need men. I am going to make this Greyjoy scream for mercy."

Rowan smiled he was glad to see his Lord back in form. "Do you think the Far Reach would respond, the extra 5000 men at Horn Hill would be a boon. I don't know why they stopped after Tully fell."

Eustace laughed, "I doubt anyone asked them to come. We must strike by surprise. If we march to King's Landing all we will see is the Ironborn fleeing our forces. Send word to the Arbor, say we need ships to invade the Iron Islands.

"I guess we can give it a shot, do you think we could get Vaith to stay home?"
