Duncan watches as Aldric approaches the Targaryen princess. He could see why Martell was so determined in his efforts -- she truly was beautiful, and her exotic hair and eyes only enhanced her appeal. Still, the woman's body language could not make it any clearer that she was not interested.
On the one hand, it really wasn't any of Duncan's business. But on the other hand, he wouldn't wish Prince Aldric on anyone. Sighing, he sets down the plate of spiced duck he had acquired from one of the tables. "Watch my food," he tells Ser Gaspar, then hefts his wine cup in one hand and heads towards the conversation.
Duncan had never been very good at play-acting, but he makes a spirited if somewhat unconvincing show of being a staggering drunk. As he nears he jerks his wrist and tosses the contents of his wine glass all over Aldric, conveniently missing Alysanne in the process.
"Oh!" Duncan says loudly, as if just noticing Aldric for the first time. "I'm sorry, y'Highness. A few too many drinks. Good party, this." He claps Aldric on one wine-soaked shoulder.

Alister stood up rapidly, and stepped calmly, between Alysanne and the two Dornishmen, his eyes on the apparent "drunk." He smiles cautiously, and scans the crowd even more cautiously.

Aldric laughed, and stepped back. He removed his shirt easily and wrung it out. "No harm no foul. It is a little early in the evening for the indecent part of the festivities, but I suppose it can not be helped."

Alysanne held back a laugh and muttered something like "Smooth aim."

Corwyn's eyes pass from Aldric's to the two other Dornishmen, his left hand already on a blade.

Aldric threw his shirt at a servant, and smiled at Alysanne, "Would you care for a dance, your Highness?"

She hesitated and stood. "I suppose."

Wrapping his arms about her, Aldric lead her out onto the floor. He cast one look back over his shoulder at Toland, and it was pure venom.

"Who is he?" Alysanne asked, keeping her face serious.

"Lord Toland. He does not like me very much I think. Clearly he was trying to drive you away from my company." Aldric clicked his tongue, "It would take a lot more then a sodden shirt for me to leave your company."

"Oh? Well, you kind of deserved that though." she said with an amused smile.

"You truly think so?" Aldric smiled, "Whatever makes you think that. I have been a perfect gentleman." He laughed as he began to lead her in a slow sway. His hands pulling her close into his embrace.

"You do not want to know what I think, trust me." she pointed out.

"Oh indeed I do. For who can I woo you with out knowing your thoughts on me." Aldric studied her as they dance, "I would think you feel mostly derision, with a large dollop of distaste, and just a hint of curiosity."

"Aha." Alysanne smirked. "Maybe there's more to you after all. But that's about it. And you can't."
