After going into labour nearly two weeks late, Queen Rhaenys Targaryen gives birth to triplets in early June 572, a daughter and two sons. The queen is exhausted but well.

The day after the birth, it's announced that the children are to be named Joanna, Daemon and Daeron. Joanna and Daemon are said to have been born with the queen's silver-gilt hair and Daeron the black hair of the Baratheons. It is too soon to know what colour eyes the babies will possess.
