Oswell's army of mixed men makes its way along the Gold Road heading east towards Kings Landing. They are making good time, making secure camps at night in fields along the road.

Lord Tully orders James Rivers to take twenty-five men along with Lyam Erenford to ride for Oldtown with all haste. Lyam is to speak with Lady Danyella Hightower on Oswell's behalf.
