A keep south of the Golden Tooth. Relatively little is known of it, other than that it is occupied by members of the Cult.

There are no guards, but this recently abandoned, out-of-the-way village now holds several hundred occupants. Woman and children seem to outnumber the men 2 to 1.

The news is brought back to the main army, which arrives the next day. Oswell takes a small force to the village, bearing the standard of Tully colors beneath the Queen's own banner.
As he rides into the village Oswell asks to speak with someone who is in charge.

As he rides forward into sight of the village, men run forward with bows. Soon arrows are falling among his men. Two men fall to the barrage.

Oswell raises his shield and rides back for his main force and orders a full charge. Sword drawn the men rush in on horseback with shields raised.

Owell sheathes his sword ad looks around at the carnage all around him. The bodies of close to a thousand men, women, and children littler the ground, blood and guts mingling together. He orders the bodies piled up and burned i nthe center of the village. Oswell himself gets down to help in the process. He did not enjoy killing women and children, nor men for that matter, and though the least he could do was assist in disposing of their bodies.
When the mound of bodies was burning bright and hot Oswell orders the rest of the village to be put to the torch, and the army assembles at the top of the rise over-looking it. "I am glad this business is over with. I am sure you all gained as little pleasure from it as I, just remember who they were and why we did it. For now we must look forward to where we go from here. I was only told of Dustwind, do any of you know of any other Cult holdings?"

Aegon looked in disgust at the pile of burning bodies.
He thanked the Seven, his men had not been involved in the massacre of the Cultists - if Cultists they had truly been. He also couldn't help feeling a sense of disquiet.
Somehow it was too easy defeating their enemies. Thatcher offering himself up for execution...the Cultists forces reduced to poorly armed men, women and children...their unhindered progress south. Sooner or later they'll strike, but not where we're expecting them.
"Our mission as ordered is complete." he told Tully stonily. "We should either ask for further orders or return to the Queen."

Oswell nodded, "Yes, that is what I was thinking as well. I do not wish to wait around here for an answer, so we will head for Kings Landing."

After their business with the small village was over Oswell orders his forces to move out. They move across the country to the Gold Road, and then on the Kings Landing. Each night Oswell orders the camp to be orderly and secured, with stakes surrounding them to ward off any would-be attackers. The going is slow across the open country until they finally reach the Gold Road.
