Rhaenys nodded politely to Selwyn.
"I want to see your maps that contain details of the Mander. I need to know the locations of two places named Rockwall and Rivers Fall. Do you know where they are?"

Rhaenys looked coldly at Drumm.
"You are to stay with Ser Maekar, of course. He will need you more now than ever."

Selwyn nodded, "I do." He picks up a map and marks the keeps. "They are barely keeps, more outposts."

Rhaenys looked at the maps; she needed to know which of the Mander castles they were near.
"Lord Dawnrose is already in the Mander. I'll be sending Euric too, after the wedding, so we can crush them both. He needs men though."

Ryam's shoulders slumped, and his demeanor took on that of a wounded puppy. "Are you sure there is nothing we can do, along with that. Maybe command your personal yacht up and down the river. anything at all."

"i don't have a yacht," Rhaenys answered. "You might, however, take some time to attend upon Lady Greyjoy if she is willing. She may enjoy your company."

While Rockwall stood near the great hills of the marches.

"We'll send Euric to River's Fall," Rhaenys decided. "It will be closest to us after we leave Kings Landing. I'll send Lord Dawnrose word that he's to attack Rockwall. How many men can you give Euric?"

"A thousand... Northmen mostly. But Eustace has offered us as many Stormlanders as we need. He is going to eliminate the one near him immediately, if that is acceptable to you." Selwyn said.

"That's fine," Rhaenys agreed. "What will you do, after the wedding? It was my intent to send you to the nearest Cultist keep, but if you are sending your brother it's hardly necessary. What about Kings Landing itself? I will need men there, and I do not think it would be wise to entrust my safety to the Goldcloaks."

"No we will have a thousand Stormlanders, a thousand Reachmen, a thousand Northmen. That should be more then adequate. Most of the goldcloaks are untrained for battle, but simply watchmen." Selwyn replied.

Euric was quiet through all of this, his eyes on the map.

"Even Watchmen untrained for battle are, by their very name, trained for other things," Rhaenys commented. "They may know things that we should know, the officers if not the men. I will not place my trust in them. It will be good to have loyal men in the city, though. There will be things I need to do even while I am not fit to travel."
She looked at Euric.
"Are you content with the men you have been offered, ser?"

"A thousand men should be enough." Euric said. "I doubt there will be much resistance."

"Nevertheless, there will surely be some," Rhaenys said. "Be prepared for that."
