Ganieda came up to the gates, she had heard that Lord Thatcher had been looking at the bodies of the would-be assasins in her wedding.
She waited for someone to notice her.

Two men wearing black mail examine the Ironborn girl, and stare with undisguised confusion.
"Can someone help you milady?" The older one asks.

"Uh... yes, of course, may we tell him whose seeking him?" The other one asks, scratching the dirt with his boot.

"Just a moment," the older one says, before going into the Gate house, and having a discussion with someone inside.
"Alright, follow that fellow on up to the Lord's Solar." He says, gesturing to a younger looking man inside the gatehouse who waves and turns to lead her inside.
After a frightfully long trek, and too many steps, Lady Greyjoy enters the Solar.
"Ah... Lady Greyjoy, congratulations on your marriage, I'm sorry that it was marred in such a ghastly way. That seems to be all to common around here I'm afraid."

"Lord Thatcher." she said respectfully. "Thank you. I heard that you were investigating, and I myself would quite like to see the person that planned this quite a bit shorter, or longer. Amy I see the bodies? and know what you've found?"

"If you like you may see them, although there isn't much to be seen. They have no particular identifying characteristics, apart from all being equally dead. The crossbow device they used to attack you was innovative, but I've had no luck in determining where it was made. They appear to have entered the feast disguised as servers, but their livery was ill-matching. It was their good fortune that no one had noticed their appearance earlier. All signs point, in my opinion, to a rather hastily organized assassination plot carried out by assassins hired for the purpose."

"You said innovative, whys that? I thought there was only few ways to design a crossbow. And the ones ive seen have been the same."

"It fired three quarrels in rapid succession, and had two more quarrels it could have fired. That's a little strange," Talyn admitted, "But I can't find anything which would narrow down where it was made, or sold."

"And there was I thinking that cross-bows were highly insuperior to longbows, clearly I was wrong in that count."
She thought for a moment.
"Wouldnt the makers of such a weapon leave a mark somewhere, it must be one of only a few, if not one of a kind."

Talyn shrugged, and held up the device, which was sitting on his desk.
"I examined it, but did not find such a mark. You are welcome to look for yourself."

She took the weapon and looked at it carefully.
"Quite a design." She commented, admiring the way that it was made. "I can imagine that something like this would put a dent in the pocket. Did the men have anything on them at all?"

"Nothing which identified them." Talyn replied, shrugging, "I'm sorry I can't be more helpful. They seem the type of scum one can hire in any moderate sized city, and which run amok in army camps."
