Queen Rhaenys decrees that from henceforth no man or woman of House Targaryen whether they be trueborn or bastard born may make a marriage contract without the queen's consent. The children of the aforesaid are also bound by the same conditions whether or not they be Targaryen in name. The children's children, however, shall wed as pleases their own head of house.

Any marriage which contravenes the above is to be deemed null and void.
