The small fleet carrying men of the Riverlands, Vale, Iron Islands, and the Mander attempt a landing under the cover of darkness. Oswell had wanted to avoid the major keeps, not knowing which lords would be loyal to the Queen or to Thatcher.
The troops wear black over their mail, and their weapons are muffled as they make the approach to shore. Tully sits in the boat with his men, waiting patiently for Greyjoy to do what he did best.

Greyjoy's former fishing ship is the first to land, and he leaps ashore. The Ironborn had been divided up between the vessels, and they direct the others to shore as best as can be expected of such a motley assembly.
Ragnor quietly orders the first few on dry land to set up a perimeter and cover the others as they disembark.

Oswell's boat is among the first to land. As he jumps off he also immediately begins issuing whispered orders for his scouts to disembark as soon as they are ready and for his Riverland men to assemble. Once he is confident his men are in order he leaves Cleos and Erren in charge and rushes off to the other groups as they formed up. As he went he gave out orders, telling men where to assemble and wait. After all the ships are emptied he calls the leaders of each faction together.
"Well that went well enough, good job Ragnor. Your men have done well, I thank you. Now I believe it would be wise to be off and on our way. Our scouts are out combing the woods and are under orders to report back on any groups of soldiers they find, I trust Darry can manage that much. My Riverland men will lead, I want your men right behind me Ragnor then the Mandermen and the men of the Vale bringing up the rear. Make sure your men know to keep their conversations short and quiet and report anything to me at the front. We head for Harrenhal, any questions?" Oswell looked at each man in turn, hoping they would be in agreement and be on their way.

"Sounds fine to me, even if I don't understand not having us Ironborn up front." Ragnor answers with a smirk. "Won't be keeping this army hidden for too long, though, I wager. A thousand men don't march without being noticed."

Ganieda jumped off the boat that she was on and splashed into the shallows of the beach. She checked she still had everthing with her, then started to follow the croud.

Ragnor looks over just as Pyke hops ashore. He nods to Tully's further instructions, then heads over to the Ironborn girl.
"I'm supposed to tell you lot to keep quiet while we're marching." He says to her in a stage whisper. "Not that I think it'll do much good. Had a nice trip, I assume? Enough Mandermen trying to get your clothes off?"

Ganieda laughed quietly.
"If they could get close enough to try." She said back. She brushed a strand of hair from her eyes. "So they expect the whole army to be silent as we attack?"

A thousand men don't march without being noticed." "I know the truth of that well enough, we will be noticed but I intend it to be later than sooner. I only put my men at the front because they know the lay of the land better than anyone and will lead us well. If there is nothing else we will be on our way." Oswell walks to where his Riverlanders are waiting and gives the order to move out. The column begins its trek towards Harrenhal with scouts preceding them to the north, south , and west.

"Tully seems to. Might work for a few hours." Ragnor chuckles. "Least it keeps us from having to listen to Dawnrose and his fucking fools."

Ganieda hid her amusement as she watched the subject of the conversation.
"And now you have the unfortunate job of telling everyone?"

"Eh, I told you. Did my part. Now it's time to break out the wine and fucking march." He pulls out a wineskin, takes a swig, and tosses it to Pyke. "Some of the best from Winterfell's cellars."

She took a mouthful and threw the skin back. "The best you could get hold of hey?"
She smiled. "Give me Marnie's from Harlaw anyday."

"We take what we can get. Never had Marnie's, I don't think. Just grew up with a steady stream of Dornish and Eastern shit being traded through the Stepstones. Too dry, most of it." He shrugs, and then begins laughing, muffling it as best he can. "We march North, conquer evil, sail back south to conquer it some more, and of all things we're discussing wine vintages while we march."

She chuckled. "Well why not? Cant talk about the talent around her can we?"

"Well, we'll see how the talent is. Can't be worse than the Northern girls." He shakes his head at the thought. "Need to find me some little camp follower before too long. Or maybe a decent Ironborn lass. There's one or two that aren't too bad looking."
