Blocking the bridge on the north bank were eight knights. They watched the small troop as it approached and one walked forward raising his hand, "Hold in the name of the King."

"I am the Queen," Rhaenys called to the men. "I halt for no king, whoever he may be."

They are brought to Lord Baratheon. He is a tall man with curly brown hair, and a full beard. He has a pretty face, but hammer hard eyes. His own war hammer is attached to his army, and his helm sported the Baratheon antlers. He spat once, and looked at the men, "What?"

"I am the Queen," Rhaenys called to the men. "I halt for no king, whoever he may be." The knight raised his eyebrow, and chuckled, "So you are this dragon bitch trying to steal the crown. I suppose you are here to surrender to Lord Royce." The eight Knights are along on this side of the bridge, but many large camps of warriors can be seen stretching away on the south bank.

Ser Simon steps forward and bows to the imposing man. "I have a message from my lord...my lord. It would be best served in private." Simon looked at the man warily, afraid he would not take well to the request. Lord Eustice nodded, and motioned for the man to follow him into his pavilion. In there he threw his helm against a wardrobe, and moved to take up a wine bottle. He drank from its head as he turned to study the scout. He did not speak, just raised a single eyebrow.

"I was sent by Lord Oswell Tully milord. He serves Queen Rhaenys and Lord Selwyn, and would like to inquire to your allegiances. It seems we are in a position to vie for friends."

"Surreender?" Rhaenys repeated. "Certainly not! I am here to request passage past your army so my men and I may travel to Harrenhall."

"I serve King Selwyn. As does Lord Royce and Mallister." The man replied calmly. "We know he has knelt, but we think we can convince him to stand tall as King once again."

"Surreender?" Rhaenys repeated. "Certainly not! I am here to request passage past your army so my men and I may travel to Harrenhall." "Well then Lord Royce is the man you want to see." Turning he looked at another knight, "Fetch Lord Mallister." Again he pointed at another Knight, "You get Lord Baratheon." He turned and waved for her to follow.

Rhaenys followed, wondered where she was meant to be going. She was worried at their attitude to her but knew it couldn't be allowed to show.

"Lord Tully looks for allies against the Thatcher bastard, whether you swear to Selwyn or Rhaenys, he cares not. As I said, he seeks allies below the neck. Would you be willing to tell me of your intentions so I could relay them to lord Tully?"

Dyther looked about for any stormlanders he might recognize. It had been a while, for sure.
