"That is possibility. The women here have nothing to fear, I do not aim to woo any man." She looks at Maekar and gives him a mischievous smile. "If Lord Tyberion were free, perhaps I would consider him, but alas he isn't." She chuckles, "Will you bring us any news of perhaps a wedding with you and the future King? There is much talk and gossip, some say you will wed here in Winterfell to provide more unity and strength with all the fighting between camps and rivalry."

"That wsa the plan. yes," Rhaenys answered. "But it has had to be put on hold now, because I must needs go and rescue my sister Kyma. I wish that I could give you happy news, Shahrazi, but my sister's safety comes before my marriage. We'll choose a new place and time, after Kyma is returned to me."

Shah frowns and holds back a wince. "That is unfortunate. It will be difficult to see you all go, I do not feel good tides from this next journey you all embark on. Please Queen Rhaenys, send someone else in your stead."

"Would that I could, but the instructions were clear. I must go myself, or I will never see my sister again. She was a fool but she does not deserve to die. Don't worry, Lord Selwyn will protect you."

She was sad she would never see the Queen again, nor the Gold she was promised. "Very well, Lord Selwyn and the army will remain here then? I was thinking of staying here, and now it seems the best option."

Assuming I live."You are welcome to continue with Lord Selwyn or else I will ask Lady Stark to take you on here until more of the realm is settled."

"I'm thinking highly of staying here, it ... depends on something, to know if the feeling is right. Either choice would please me, but predicting people is hard." She chuckled, "And I don't even know if my own feelings are true."

"I don't understand. Whose feelings can you not predict, aside from your own?"

"Would you keep it a secret? My maid says I'm in love, perhaps she's right, when I was preparing for tonight my forehead was heating and my palms were sweaty, normally it would be attributed to nervousness, but I was only nervous on my debut and never since. My maid said it was because I was excited to see someone. I dismissed it at first, but my maid was always sound, and I do not think I've taken a chill. Thus, I..want to be with them, but I don't know how they would feel in turn."

Rhaenys smiled and drew the Myrish woman close to her so none could hear them.
"Of course I can keep a secret. I was in love once, a silly, girlish thing that ended badly, but I know the joy and the pain of it. I will keep your secret, Shahrizai. Who is he?"

"Is there going to be singing at this concert?!" Morrigen's voice bellows above the din.

She recognized the boisterous voice of Dyther, she was torn between telling Rhaenys and getting on with her performance. "I shouldn't think of it anymore lest I ruin the singing, my apologies, perhaps we can speak of this later." She squeezed the Queen's hands and smiled with bright eyes, "Please enjoy."

"As you will, then, but I am curious now, so you cannot keep me waiting," Rhaneys said. "We women should confide in one anothe while we are surrounded by men who do not understand us."

"I agree my queen, perhaps before you leave." Shah bowed and left for the front of the hall to begin her performance, sleeves trailing once again as she hurried politely through the crowd.
