"Now you demand I break my personal morals." Euric replied, not moving." Find me a Cultist and I'll be glad to show you my worth, but wooden blades are for children. Sparring, Saenarys, honestly?"

"If you are frightened, it's perfectly okay." Saenarys said, smiling wider. "We are all adults here. It's perfectly genuine to admit to fear."

Euric laughed. "I do hope you aren't serious, Saenarys. There is no way I am going to fight you with an oversize twig." He sighed and turned toward the exit. "Is there anything else you wanted to 'talk' about?"

"Just about my sister." Saenarys said, tossing the swords away from him. "Why is it you wish to marry her?"

Euric turned to face Saenarys again and smiled. "Love, Saenarys. Love. Nothing more and nothing less."

"You're landless. So far as I can tell. You might not gain your rightful seat for many years, if at all. What is to keep the two of you from starving?"

"The same thing that has kept me from starving until now. This army, our Queen, any god damned keep we pass by. And when we reach Kings Landing, and defeat the Cult and so on and so on, well I am sure all the nonsense of which keep will go to who will have been sorted out. I very much doubt anyone is going to be landless by the end of this."

"One more question." Saenarys asked, smirking still.
"Who, in your personal and professional opinion, was the greatest warrior who ever lived?"

Euric's smile widened and he had a twinkle in his eyes. "Why, me of course." He nodded curtly and left the tent.

Saenarys chuckled. "He's smart and full of love for my dear sister. Cocky and sure." He looked at Tomas. "You were right, though, he didn't take the bait at all."
"And...?" Tomas asked, interested.
"Get me parchment, Fury. I've got to write a letter."

Alysanne arrived, leaving her guard outside. Still a bit cautious after the last time they had met.

A short, portly man approached the princess.
"Your Highness, the Princess?" He asked, pushing a pair of spectacles up his nose from the position they had fallen. He had thick, black eyebrows and quite a bit of coarse beard growth. But he seemed friendly enough.
"I am Maester Willem. I'll lead you to the... Whitefyre's tent."

Joseff raised an eyebrow at the man but seemed otherwise motionless.
"Please do," Alysanne said to the Maester.

Willem had short legs, so his stride left distance and speed to be imagined. Eventually, he stood outside of a tent emblazoned with a white dragon outline on a white field.
The maester shuffled her in, and stood directly in the path of the opening, lest anyone try to come in unwanted.
Inside, Saenarys was sitting at his table, a stack of papers piled high, several wells of ink, and a quill feather in his teeth. He smiled as Alysanne entered.
"Sweet sister." He said. "Thank you for coming."

She gave him a smile and sat down opposite her brother, looking at him over the stack.
