Halliron pulled the reins of his horse to stop after he rode into the winning place. He waited for Borcas to reach him.

Borcas arrived a good deal of time later.
"You are sure you spent no time at the Sea, Ser..."

"Borcas Redwyne. Well, you certainly are one of the most skilled people I've ever met. Of the top ten of them, to speak frankly. How did it happen?"

"A Redwyne you say, what was your father's name? My mother died when I was only three, and my father was not the best father when I was young. He left me alone with the servants or own my own, I spent most of my time as a young boy on horse, that might be why."

"Alexander... He was son of Ser Barris, though I never met my grandfather. I never met my mother either, Lord Halliron. All I knew was my father and the life on the Sea, and a hell of a life it was." Borcas smiled at the rememberance of his days as a Ko.

Halliron sat on his horse and looked to be lost in thought.
"It seems we are distant family then, Master Borcas. Your father and my mother were brother and sister."

Borcas was amazed.
"Not too distant, Lord Halliron. First cousins. I had no idea, truth be told."

"Me neither, but I guess one is suprised by something every day" he said without moving his face in any expression.

"You might be right. Well, I can't play the philosopher when I'm not one. Do you care for another race as we head back to Castle Black?"

Halliron shrugged.
"Why not?" he then leaned forward and patted his horse on the side of his neck. "Ready for another run, boy?"
