Kyma looked at him, "I will try to be as friendly to you as I can. But I have to assume your men are used to you returning with far uglier woman. Should you blacken my eye?" Her voice was sharp and tense.

Talyn wanted to laugh, but restrained himself, although a smile did creep onto his face, "They aren't used to me returning with women at all, ugly or otherwise. As hard as you may find it to believe, I am not exactly a lady's man. So I think we will have need of your comely looks to explain why my routine has altered."

Talyn looked up from his feet, and looked Kyma in the eye, and smiled shyily, "Ah.. my apologies. i shall endeavor to do better. Our ruse will not be successful if I appear bashful around you." He says, taking comfort in the practicalities and sitting up a little straighter. "Shall we continue to the camp and our acting debut?" He asks.

They ride quietly, for Talyn has little to say either, and takes the time to dwell on exactly what he is getting himself into.
