Princess Aurora Martell walks over and bows to Ser Euric, "Ser Euric, a pleasure to see you. Can I be of any service to you?" She smiled warmly, and idly played with her hair.

"Princess Aurora." Euric said with a slight bow. "As a matter of fact, there is. As you are probably aware the Queen and I came to speak with your father recently and left it... well, not so good terms. I do not wish to further infringe on Princes Horas' health so I though I might be able to speak about matters with you."

Aurora tilted her head and eyed the knight warmly, "Of course Ser Euric. I have some time to spare for conversation." She turned and began to walk away. She swayed gracefully as she walked, and entered the second largest tent. The floor was covered by silk pillows, and she reclined atop of some, and motioned for him to recline as well, "I am comfortable now, you may begin."

Euric smiled and sat down opposite her. "Interesting, this." He said, indicating the pillows. "Anyhow, his highness the Prince seems to unfortunately think I am trying to steal his castle from him. You must understand, I have never been to Westeros before I came with the Targaryens, and so some of the means of converse here are alien to me. As you well know I approached Queen Rhaenys at first, announcing to her my lineage and my willingness to gain the ancestral home of my house." He halted for a moment to let his words sink in.
"Of course I did never intend to go behind your father's back, but I wished to have her grace's affirmation and fullest confidence in the matter before approaching Prince Horas. I did of course not wish to assume I would simply be granted Starfall, what with its current inhabitants perhaps still alive and my need to prove myself perhaps and earn the keep. I have mainly come here now to let house Martell know that I wish there to be no feud between the two of us and that I would wish to cooperate fully."

Aurora studied, "They say the pretty ones are never smart." She smiled and winked at him, "If you were given Starfall that would make you my father's banner man. Meaning that you would command a great deal of his troops. The Harlaws who live there now are more sand then snow at this point, and know to their bones that my father is their Prince. Given that keep by the Queen, you would never be my father's man." She tilted her head, "Why a keep that large being controlled by a man he could not trust, my father would surely pray an accident would befall that man. And things my father prays for. They usually happen."

Euric's smile never faded. "I most certainly agree; were I in your father's shoes I would never dare to give some strange foreign man one of my strongest castles. He would have to prove his loyalty to me first, show me that I can trust him with anything that might be of importance to me."
"I know Prince Horas is a highly intelligent man and I do not doubt he knows a far lot more than any of us, which is why I believe he would consider a move very carefully." And now for the strike.
"But I also believe the Prince, hourse Martell and the whole of Dorne would benefit from a man who knows how to handle a blade and command men. A man with a name that has, or rather had, much leverage and with a sword of a legendary status. Certainly a figurehead that can be appreciated by many people." His smile widened then to show teeth.
"Of course I do not wish for my sole argument to be a piece of steel, so I would be very willing to prove myself to you and his highness."

Aurora laughed leaning back on her pillows. Rolling over she looked at Euric closely, "There are advantages to what you say. It is the loyalty issue we have to address. And there is no effective way to prove your loyalty on command." And she eyed him again her smile large, "I do not mean to mock you, overmuch, but I am correct when I say that your sword is not a piece of steel at all." She winked at him.

She's a man eater! "It is not exactly real steel, like that of most others." He continued to smile and set a little more upright. "As for the loyalty part, well, you can ask any remaining Targaryen soldier and they will tell you that I have lead a force of them with efficiency and skill and so perhaps I could be helpful to some of the remaining Dornish generals. Speak with them about tactics, teaching and learning something at the same time."

Aurora leans back propping her head up on her elbow, "You keep talking about the Targaryens. We know they were your first love, but you must prove to us that you want a new mistress, and her name is Martell." She smiled wickedly and added, "I have always wanted to see a legendary blade. Do you mind?" She raised a delicate eyebrow.

Euric nods assuredly and unsheathes Dawn, resting it on both hands and holding it before him. "I will be pleased to join the ranks of house Martell, but know that I will always remain friends with our Queen and her sisters."

Aurora looks slightly disappointed and murmured, "I guess this blade first." She reached a hand to trace a finger down its length, and licks her full lips. "So you want to kiss one woman by Sunlight, and another by fire light." She looked up at him, "How well have you known women?"

"Not overly." He replied, forcing himself to not get a very uncomfortable look on his face. "I have made my experiences in Sothorys, and have known a girl or two during the beginning of the campaign but otherwise I have been a gallant and noble knight."

Aurora laughed and looked at him, "Not exactly what I meant, but it is interesting to hear." She seats up and moves closer to him, "I meant that a woman would not like their man having two mistresses. In the end you will have to choose between the Dragon and the Sun." She motioned to his blade, "May I hold it."
