"The Queen doesn't care for lewd songs, man. Go sober up then you may come back," Makear demanded.

"She can come ask me herself, then. Who the hell are you, anyway? Must have hid in the back with the horses while the fighting was going on. Get me a glass of wine and a bagel and get the hell out of here." Dyther turns back to his drink.

"None, I admit, but it would show that we reward our friends, especially as Euric is to be made lord of Starfall in due course."
Her voice softened.
"I hoped this might please you. I thought you cared for him, sister?"

Maekar grabbed the glass out of Dyther's hand and grabbed the man by the collar before he slammed him against the wall.
"My name is Maekar Blackfyre, cousion to the queen, and I'll thank you to mind your tongue in my presence! To insult me is to insult Her Grace."

"Cousin?" Now Dyther laughs, unperturbed by his impolitesse. "Bastard cousin it sounds like. I havea last name which used to MEAN something to good folks, Macker. Putting yourself on the same level as Her Grace is....treason, is it not?"

"Now, now, Maekar." Said a familiar voice. "Let's play nicely with the Queen's guests. He was just singing a song." Saenarys patted Maekar on the back.

"You speak to me of treason? Me, who was the first to make Her Grace Queen."
Ignoring Saenerys, Maekar again slammed Morrigen against the wall.

"I see the Valyrian madness hasn't gone far from your kind." Dyther shrugs.

"I do." After a long silence she spoke up. "Alright, but I will talk to him myself. I don't want him to wed me just because he has to."

A fellow stepped up beside Whitefyre. "Is this how the queen would deal with singers Ser? Slamming them against the wall because the lyrics offended her?" He spoke in accented voice.

Saenarys turned to look at the man, then back to Maekar.
"There you have it Maekar, you are acting ridiculous, embarrassing her Majesty. You should probably go find some young squire to help you cool off."

Aegon stood watching Maekar and the drunken knight. His lip curled contemptuously. The Blackfyre certainly appeared to like throwing his weight around.
"This is not seemly Ser Maekar."

Maekar spun around to glare at his cousins and at the stranger too. He was in a foul temper.
"You tell me what is not seemly when not one of you lifted a finger to eject this man from the hall?"

"We were not aware that his bawdy rhymes displeased our dear Queen." Saenarys explained. "Though, I think we might have demonstrated a bit more tact in silencing him, cousin."
Whitefyre smiled at Maekar. "Perhaps you should let one of us deal with it? It's obviously beyond your capabilities."
