1. Ser Edric Cuy, heir to Sunflower Hall
2. 33 years of age, born December 16, 488 AC
3. The Far Reach
4. The Sunflower Knight
5. Expert- Swordsmanship
Noteworthy- Naval Warfare, Battle Command (Generalship)
Apprentice- Trade/Merchantry
Novice- Fist Fighting, Architecture (buildings and cities)
Beginner- Agriculture, Lance
7. Character's History: Edric was very sickly at a young age. However, by the time he was ten years old he had transformed into a strong and healthy boy, and was sent to be a ward of Lord Costayne at Three Towers. He also squired for the Lord, and returned to Sunflower Hall at the age of 16. Edric was nearly killed in the Battle of Horn Hill the next year, when two arrows took him in the shoulder and in the thigh. However, he survived and was knighted for his valor. He married the Lady Mary Beesbury shortly after, and their son Willem was born in 508 AC. A daughter, Mary, in 509, and a second son, Stanly, in 512, followed. He marched against King Allard and fought bravely, and in the Northern Rebellion he served with the Tyrell men, and performed brilliantly in the Battle of Moat Caitlin. Edric's success in battles has mostly been contributed to luck in surviving, as he is not the greatest swordsmen in the realm but he still leads from the very front, and great leadership qualities. Once again, Edric barely stayed alive through a defeat, taking a jab from a spearpoint through his forearm during Fossoway's Folly. The maesters at Oldtown barely saved his arm, but it still worked like new.
In 522 AC Ser Edric traveled to King's Landing to take part in the Great Council of Westeros. Directly after, he sailed to his home in Sunflower Hall to prepare for battle. A large army of allied men, 15,000 strong, stormed the keep of Lemonwood during the Dornish War. Edric was the first man on the beach, and his men were the first ones over the walls. However, Sunspear responded with over 20,000 men of their own, and the two hosts met on the banks of the Greenblood River. Edric fought bravely, but was slain in the midst of battle during one on one combat with Ser Beric Dayne, the Corpse Knight. He was thirty-three years of age.
8. Character Looks: Edric stands at 5'10, tan and muscular. His face looks almost fragile; his golden hair falls straight back to just above his shoulders. His eyes are a magnetic blue, and his teeth remarkably white. No hint of hair is visible on his face, chest, or arms.
9. Reputation: He is known as a seasoned and able warrior, and honest and true. He obeys his overlords and commands his subjects. He loves his wife and children fiercely; he is not the sort of man to be seen in a brothel, and not very often in a tavern.

1) Lewys Lydden, Lord of the Deep Den, Warden of the West, and Regent of Casterly Rock2) 22 years of age, born September 7, 499 AC 3) The Westerlands 4) ---- 5) Current Skills:Grandmaster- Swordsmanship Master- Battle Command (improved) Expert- Lance, Naval Warfare Noteworthy- Fist Fighting, Politics, Finances, Trade/Merchantry Apprentice- Ambushing, Scouting Beginner- Ship Building, Persuasion 7) Character's Personal History: Lewys was sent to the Banefort at the age of eight to be fostered. There were few boys close to his age, so he spent much time down at the docks, riding through the countryside and villages, or observing how the Lord dealt with the running of the fort and the affairs of the smallfolk. His time interacting with foreigners has given him a rudimentary knowledge of several foreign languages and sailing. He was summoned back to the Deep Den at the age of 13, when his father became very sick. Lewys was forced to learn how to manage and lead at an early age. His father's sickness lingered, until he finally passed away, and Lewys became the young Lord Lydden at the age of 18. His men and him were present in the Battle of the Field of Fire and Blood, where he was knighted for his valor. ----------------------------------- Lewys rose to prominence in circuitous fashion at the age of 22. He was the defeated commander in the Battle of Bear Island that took place in the icy bay between Deepwood Motte and Bear Island. After the battle he single-handidly brokered peace with both the Ironborn and the King and delivered the power of the West to Benfry Smith's and the King's side. He traveled to King's Landing to take place in the Grand Council of Westeros in 522 AC. His suggestion of traitor and murderer Lord Jaymes Farman of Faircastle to take the black was adopted. For his efforts to reconcile the west to the crown, Lewys was granted the title Warden of the West and also the Regent of Casterly Rock for young Jeyne Lannister, still not old enough to become the true Lady of Casterly Rock and rule in that name. He married the Lady Lysa Farman in late 521 AC, who became pregnant shortly after. In May of 522 AC, Lewys commanded the West division of the Allied Forces that assaulted Lemonwood in the Dornish War. The army, made up of Far Reachmen, Westmen, and Mandermen, were victorious storming the keep with ease. However, in nearby Sunspear the Dornish put forth 23,000 to take back Lemonwood. Lewys, with orders of General Ser Gilbert Flowers, burned the bridges of the river and took place in the subsequent conflict, called the Second Battle of Lemonwood, that took place on the banks of the water. Both sides took heavy casualties, but at the end of the day the Dornish retreated and the smaller Allied army declared victory. Lewys commanded the western army that aided in the Sack of Sunspear in June of 522. After the victory, the host gathered in the Great Hall for a feast, where Lewys, Lord Aegon Tyrell, and the famous general Ser Gilbert Flowers all perished from poisoned wine that was left by the Lady Tristeza Martell. He was 22 years of age. Shortly after the battle, back in Deep Den, Lewys's wife gave birth to a stillborn son. His brother, Jon, inherited the lordship. He left behind two brothers, Jon (19), and Mors (18), along with his wife, Lady Lysa. 8) Character's Physical Description: Lewys is slightly taller than average, with a hard-packed, slender frame. He has close-cropped, light brown hair, and deep, hollow, brooding green eyes. He has thin lips, and a warm, if very rare, smile. He wears a concealed face, with a perpetual look of solemnity. His cheeks are gaunt and his nose long. Upon first glance he looks like some sort of ghostly priest; however, due to his honest and mysterious nature, he finds many women wanting to get much closer to him, although you wouldn't find one that has succeeded. 9) Character's Reputation: His reputation is one of an honest, loyal, and just Lord. He is dutiful to Casterly Rock and the King. He is always polite, but can sometimes be described as being "cold" or "distant", which is a result of his reserved and seemingly emotionless nature. He is known as an excellent ale-drinker; he can hold his own with any man of Westeros at drinking ale. However, he extremely dislikes wine, and hardly ever drinks it. He prefers ale or cold water, at all times. ------------------ His reputation has been called into question somewhat due to him fighting with the West on Horas Blackwood's side during the War of the Regents. However, it has been restored considerably due to being named Warden of the West and Regent of Casterly Rock by the Lord Regent Benfry Smith himself. He has also gained respect of many of the Ironborn, not an easy feat. September 7, 499 AC - June 23, 522 AC

DEAD by the hand of Dagon Harlaw and his men on Pyke.[/b]
Name: Ulfrik Greyjoy, Captain of the Drowned Vengeance
Age: b.495 (27)
Nationality: Risen harder and stronger.
Byname: Ulfrik Thrice-Drowned
Skills: Expert+ Persuasion Expert Polearm
Noteworthy Battle Noteworthy Religion - The Drowned God
Apprentice Drowning/Resuscitation Apprentice Naval Battle
Novice Throwing Knives
Beginner Brawling Beginner Sailing Personal History: Ulfrik Greyjoy was born two years after Andrik Greyjoy, his birth causing the death of his lady mother Ilia. Where his brother was raised on ship, Ulfrik was raised in water; at the age of thirteen he was drowned for the second time, resuscitated and given new life by the Drowned God. Ulfrik was fast on his way to a life as a servant of the Drowned God until the Ironborn were called to battle in the Three Kings War. Taking up arms, and leaving behind none of his religious fervor, Ulfrik served on his brother’s ship, taking part in both the battles at Seagard and Riverrun. It was at Seagard that Ulfrik earned his name of Thrice-Drowned, falling overboard in the melee and was thought dead until washing up on shore three days later.
As the war trickled to an end, the fanatical bloodlust inside Ulfrik failed to wane, and he joined with his brother in reaving. The Summer Islands were a place of bounty for the Thrice-Drowned: It was here that the brothers Greyjoy captured a Summer Islander galley. Captained by Ulfrik and renamed Drowned Vengeance, he and his brother continued to raid and pillage exotic waters until recently returning to very different Iron Islands.
Physical Description: Standing a half a head taller than his elder brother Andrik, Ulfrik Thrice-Drowned is however the lesser in mass. Lithely muscled and long-limbed, the stern faced Ironborn posses a frightening reach with a polearm. It is rare for an expression of mirth to form on Ulfrik’s dark eyes and severe lips, but when it does one can be sure it stems from serving the Drowned God… and sending men to a watery grave. Dark brown, tangled and unkempt hair falls to his shoulders in a brine hardened snarl. His beard is similar, a great, monstrous thing, with strips of cloth, shells, bone, and other flotsam tied within. Ulfrik wears simple but effective blacked ringmail over hardened gray leathers, with knives tucked in secret places and a wicked looking bardiche either strapped to his back, or in his hand ready for work.
Reputation: Ulfrik was known on the Iron Islands as a pious and devout follower of the Drowned God. This piety never caused Ulfrik to shy from violence, however; if anything, it only motivated Ulfrik to send more souls to the Drowned God's watery halls.

My Third:
1) Jack Lordsbane, Keeper of Slateville. Died in the Battle of Kingsroad Bridge, commanding the peasant rebel forces against Lord Roose Stark's army.
2) 35 years of age, born on October 31, 487
3) Nationality: Born in the Mander, living in the North
4) Bynames: Stoutsbane, Lordsbane, Happy Jack
5) Current Skills:
Grandmaster- Battle Command/Tactics
Master- Swordsmanship
Expert- Architecture
Beginner- Fist Fighting, Combat Instruction
7) Character's Personal History: Jack was born the son of a small time merchant, along the Sea Road. He married a farmer's daughter, named Lisa, at the age of 17, and they had two sons before their second anniversity, Jack and Dan. He fought in several battles during this time, returning home to visit his beloved wife and sons at long intervals. He talks little of his childhood and his marriage, but from what information friends can extract from Jack from time to time, he was falsely accused of raping a Lord's daughter, and as a result he was forced to abandon his home and flee. He stole away his two sons with him, but was unable to take his wife, who had been raped and killed by the Lord's guards in their modest home. Jack wandered the kingdoms for months, stealing and robbing for food for himself and his small companions. They all somehow managed to survive the ordeal and wound up in the north, where he has been working the last 13 years as a cook in Lord Stoat's service at his keep in Goldgrass. His sons are now 16 and 15, and both have newly been acquired into the garrison at Goldgrass.
------------------------------------
Late in 521 AC, Jack, working as a cook in Goldgrass's Keep, poisoned Lord Evan Stout, his master. His conspirators, Wat Shephard and Brendan Cobbler, stormed the keep with a mob of angry peasants. The rebellion quickly spread, and Jack led the peasants in battle, winning three straight victories over the levies of Slateville, Overton, and Moston. Jack's oldest son, called Little Jack, died in battle fighting the Moss Knight. After the rebellion was over, Jack was named the Keeper of Slateville, in charge of keeping the peace there. He also serves as the castellan and master-at-arms in the village. Jack took the last name of Lordsbane for himself and his surviving son, Dan. He rebuilt much of the village of Moston, which was renamed Highton and has grown considerably in size and population. He has also rebuilt much of Slateville.
In May of 522 AC Jack attended the Great Feast of Stoney Shore, celebrating their leader, Wat Shephard's, recent ascension into lordship, becoming Wat of House Shephard, Lord Steward of the Stoney Shore.
In November of 522, after whisperings had been heard of Wat and Jack having to undergo trial for their rebellion in the Stoney Shores, and after the peasants in the Rills, Barrowton, and around Torrhen's Square rebelled, Jack and Wat took action. They marched towards Winterfell, and made their stand at the White Knife river, where the Kingsroad crosses is on a bridge. Their forces were 8,000 peasants to Lord Stark's better quality force of 15,000, but somehow the rebels fought well under Jack's command until they were finally overwhelmed after several days of battle. 19,000 men from both sides combined were killed in that bloody battle, known as the Battle of Kingsroad Bridge. Jack was slain at the end of the battle, when he was doing single combat with Lord Stark and several men came up behind him to stab him and cut him down.
His son, Dan Lordsbane, survived and escaped, though few know it.
8) Character's Physical Description: Jack is a large man, 6'1 in stature and broad and strong across the chest and shoulders. He has a thick mop of black hair and thick eyebrows with protuding, darting blue eyes underneath, and full lips covering a full set of teeth, save two or three. A large scar runs from his left eye down to his jaw line.
9) Character's Reputation: He is known as a silent, grim man, who goes about his business and work without hardly a word. He is a commendable drinker, and also regularly trains at swords with the guards and gets the better of them more oft than not.
------------------------
The peasants view Jack as a reborn Aegon the Conquerer, the way he leads them fearlessly into battle. Jack has dedicated his life serving to Wat Shephard and every other villager in Stoney Shore. He has learned to read and has set up programs for the other children and adults to learn also.

1) Character Name: Lord Oliver Bulwer. Died in early 523 after being poisoned at the feast of the tourney at Duskendale. Having spent the last few months of his life grieving for his father and wife, both recently deceased, Oliver will find happiness once more in being reunited with them in the afterlife.
2) Character Age: 37 - born 486, died 523.
3) Character Nationality: The Far Reach
4) Character Byname: None
5) Character Skills: Beginner: Oration, Mathematics. Novice: Seamanship, Scouting. Apprentice: Small blades. Noteworthy: Horse Riding, Stewardship, Leadership, Battle Strategy. Master: Swordsmanship.
6) Character's Second: In the pipeline.
Character's Third: Ser Antony Bulwer Beginner Seamanship Novice Horse-riding Apprentice Leadership Noteworthy Lance
7) Character Personal History: Oliver was born as the first son and heir to Lord Jackson Bulwer of Blackcrown. As such, his upbringing was always directed towards him becoming the future Lord Bulwer, leading to him having a good grounding in mathematics and the running of an estate. He was always a sensible child, mostly without humour, but with compassion for his peers.
He squired for Ser Artos Costayne from the ages of 13 to 15 and swore his vows as a knight aged 16. From here he went into service with the Oldtown guard. At 19 years of age, he was married to Marianne Hightower (17 at the time), a cousin to the Lord Robert Hightower. Within a year, she was pregnant with their first child, Tomas Bulwer (born 507).
At 21, Oliver left the Oldtown guard honorably in order to serve under his lord father as Castellan of Blackcrown due to the death of the previous castellan. Whilst here he learnt more about the way an estate is run, his father letting him take over with certain duties. He has been in this position since then, helping to run Blackcrown and leading the Blackcrown castle garrison in his father’s name, whilst fathering two more children with distant Hightower blood – Ben Bulwer (born 511) and Daniella Bulwer (born 513). In amongst this time he spent a brief spell during the War of the Three Kings serving in Lord Peyton Redwyne's fleet. Here he saw naval action against the Crown Fleet in a battle at the Arbor.
Oliver has seen military action on several occasions since then, being a veteran of the Battle of King's Landing during Andry's rebellion. In more recent times, his relative age and experience has seen him take on more active roles within the Far Reach military, leading scouting parties and even the vanguard on occasion for Lord Alex Irwyn during the troubles around the time of Horas Blackwood's Coup d'etat and the war in Dorne. Towards the end of the Dornish war, Oliver asked leave to return home early, citing a weariness at the bloodshed and atrocities to which he was contributing. On returning home he was given the devastating news that his wife had been murdered by Dornish assassins whilst he had been away.
8) Character Physical Description: A man of middling height (5”11’) and average build, with mousey brown hair that gains a reddish hue in sunlight. His face is covered with an even beard, kept at a tidy length. His face is pale with intelligent brown eyes and a mouth that twists into a smile full of charm whenever he is amused, albeit rarely. He will often be seen wearing the blood red of his house, oft times with the bull’s skull of his house adorned on his breast.
9) Character Reputation: Being a scion of a small house, Oliver initially attracted little fame. However his increasing relative age and military ability coupled with the increasing responsibilty put on his shoulders due to his father's ever-failing health have thrust him somewhat into the limelight. He has become a leadership figure within the Far Reach, one of Lord Irwyn's more trusted men, gaining many friends in high places within the realm. Outside of the Far Reach however, he remains largely unknown.

6) Character's Second (Choose 2 beginner skills, 2 novice skills, 2 apprentice skills, and 2 noteworthy skills):
7) Character Personal History:
Born to a lesser line of Daynes, young Beric died three times shortly after birth, being brought back every time by a maester. He was born during a horrible storm and the combined factor of lightning, and his purple eyes, lead to him being named Beric. His mother died a short while later, and his father, who thus bore no love for the child, gave him over to a retired sellsword. He began training with sword and horse at an early age and was allready formidable with both at age twelve. On his fourteenth nameday, his adoptive father (whom he believed was his real father) died, so Beric took the old man's greatsword and money, and sailed for Pentos. There he met a young girl, aged 8, who was also from Dorne, named Aryanne. She was working in a brothel and Beric decided she was too pretty to become a whore, so one night he stole her away from the brothel and sailed with her to Braavos. They made a living there, he as a bouncer at a brothel and her as a pick-pocket. They lived like this until one day, when he was sixteen, a strange man (most probably a faceless man) told him that he was actually of house Dayne. Beric did not believe this at first, but when the man claimed to have known his parents he decided it was worth finding out. He took Aryanna and sailed to Starfall, where he inquired about his father. He eventually found the man in a sept and announced to him he was his son. His father, standing in the eyes of the seven, could not lie and admitted to being his father. He told him however that he could never play the part, and that all he could do was make sure his son had a place to live and a yard to train.
Over the years Beric grew to be a very formidable swordsman and was knighted on his nineteenth nameday. He received a small household and became seasoned in commanding battle against pirate raids on Starfall and the Dornish coast. He married Aryanne when she turned 16, and as a marriage present she received training from a Dothraki warrior, and a Braavosi poisoner. Most recently Beric has taken Aryanne up to Highgarden, a city she has always wanted to see.
Beric still owns the sellsword's greatsword, and dons a black suit or armor, which is composed of ringmail, plate and a great helm. He rides a black stallion which he has named "Shadow".
Beric rode to Lannisport to secure and lead the Dornish fleet against the Ironborn, but the Westermen turned, so he had to flee. Back in Dorne, Beric took part of the council meetings to discuss the Dornish strategy in the war.
He took part in the second battle for Lemonwood, where he performec astonishingly, killing Ser Edric Cuy and engaging Lord Lewys Lydden in ferocious single combat.
After that Beric was in charge of one of the Dornish guerilla troops until he found out that his wife and unborn child had been killed. He rode for Hellholt, only to decide that he had had enough of the war and killing, and along with Janos, his second in command, fled to Old Town in the guise of a merchant.
From Old Town they shipped over to Braavos.
8) Character Physical Description:
Due to his unfortunate birth, Beric has pale skin, thin silver-ashen straight hair, which falls infront of his face and deep pruple eyes, which are speckled with grey. He is tall, around 6'1", slim, with a wiry frame of muscle, and has an almost corpse-like appearance, which earned him his nickname. He prefers wearing dark colors, mostly black, even in the heat of the Dornish sun, and he speaks with a thin voice, causing people to strain to hear him.
9) Character Reputation: Due to his looks, the people of Starfall, and most other places he has been to, shun him. His own men fear him, but they have deep respect for his skill in arms and leadership. The only person to truely bare any love for him is Aryanne, for reasons only she knows. The pirate raiders call him "The Corpse-Knight" and fear him more than any other man who has brought battle to them.

Being still a boy, Lord Duncan had a regent appointed, Ser Mychel Hill, to oversee the daily running of his castle and holdings but then the War of Dornish Secession broke out and Ser Mychel sailed south to command Faircastle's armies in the southern deserts. As soon as the war ended Ser Mychel was offered a position on the Kingsguard, which he accepted leaving Lord Duncan's great-uncle Ser Addam Farman in the position of Regent. Lord Duncan has spent the years since his father's sentencing training to be a strong and able warrior and commander, as well as a competent lord over his people. He is a lord loyal to the Westerlands, although his emotions are often conflicted. As any son, he loves his father still but is unsure how to view him since so much of the realm sees the man as a vile murderer and traitor. Lord Duncan was not present at his father's trial, but he heard tales of the proceedings, of how Lord Jaymes had been forsaken by all the men of the west, and left to take the blame for the treachery of the Westerlands during the Crow's Coup, and so he is not fond of the men of many of the other Western Houses. Since becoming Lord, Duncan has not left his seat in Faircastle, save to practice his hand at the wheel of his ship.
He was killed atop the Battlements of Deep Den, in the third battle for that castle.
Character Physical Description: Lord Duncan is a spitting image of his father, having grown nearly a foot and a half in the three years since he became the Lord. His hair is auburn, falling lazily to his shoulders in tangle curls, and his eyes are a harsh grey, so smoky as almost to be black. He's got a long face, that gives him an almost perpetual visage of solemnity. He's tall and thin, covered in wiry muscle, standing at nearly six foot although he is still growing and seems get taller by the day. He has become skilled with his father's favored weapon, the hand-and-a-half sword, although he wears his on his back as he is not yet tall enough to wear it at the waist.
Character Reputation: Lord Duncan is a young lord, with very little reputation of his own, although his father's name is known and hated across the realm so this sentiment often is applied to Lord Duncan as well, by those who do not know him.
Killed during the third Battle of Deep Den.

7) Character Personal History: Alexander Irwyn is the only son of Johan Irwyn a small bannerman for House Varner and Elise Blackbar the youngest of the four daughters of Lord Conan Blackbar of Bandallon. Alexander’s grandfather had served as Captain of the Guard for Velan Varner the grandfather of current Lord Francis Varner and was granted a small estate near the House’s Eastern border. Johan Irwyn developed a close relationship with Marcus Varner as a young child and the two enjoyed a special relationship when Marcus succeeded his father as head of the Varner household. Johan took the suspicious death of Marcus Varner very badly and retreated from house politics when Jarrad Varner became Lord.
The Irwyn family presided over the town of Irwyn with a population of 250 families and the small towns of Glenbeck and Shadywoods where the plains meet the Hanley Forest. The area was originally known for its brigands who made their home in the forest, but the area has been largely tamed now due to the construction of a small holdfast that Johan Irywn had constructed. Irwyn is now known for its timber which supports most of the construction work that goes on within House Varner’s lands.
As a young boy Alexander would spend much of his time with his father overseeing the wood cutters and first learned to fight with the small hand axes the wood cutters used to fell trees. He found the simple weapons could fell a man as quickly as they could the mighty trees in Hanley forest. At the age of 12, Alexander was sent to squire for Ser Rodney Blackbar, his uncle, on the request of his mother who held a close relationship with her only brother. How close of a relationship the two siblings shared had always been a question debated in the local taverns of Bandallon as rumors surmised the hastily arranged marriage between Elise and a lowly knight from House Varner could have only resulted from some sort of impropriety between the two.
As a squire, Alexander took to riding and falconry and would spend many hours doing both with Ser Rodney who trained and hunted with the birds often. As a going away present Ser Rodney even provided a young hatchling for him to raise and train on his own. Alexander continued to train with the axe preferring them to other types of weapons. He would eventually choose to carry two axes over a shield when he went to battle.
While Alexander was away in Bandallon, the Irwyn family would be met with tragedy. Johan Irwyn and Jarrad Varner argued increasingly and the two would finally reach a boiling point when Johan failed to respond to Jarrod Varner’s order to double his tithe of grain. Johan Irwyn first refused to receive Jarrod’s messenger and then told him to tell Lord Varner “that the Irwyn’s will not follow the orders of a sniveling little twat.” Jarrad acted swiftly sending men to arrest and hang Johan in the middle of the night. Jarrod had the land and the holdfast seized and dismissed Irwyn’s few knights from his service. One of these Knights Ser Gilbert Flowers, rode to Bandallon to tell Alexander who left immediately for his home.
Alexander was made Lord of Uplands by the Lord Regent of the Far Reach, Francis Varner after the trial of Lord Tallahar Tyrell.
After raising the Far Reach in support of Lord Regent Piers during the Rebellion of Prince Andry, Alexander gained some fame as a general for expertly leading his men across the Blackwater and assaulting the Mud Gate of King Landing during the Battle of Fire and Blood. The Far Reach the strongest army remaining after the battle secured the Capital for the King and Lord Regent.
During the Rebellion of Lord Horas Blackwood and Tristeza Martell, Alexander assumed the role of Lord Regent of the Far Reach for the slain Trevor Tarly and joined the Vale, Stormlands and the Ironborn in supporting Lord Regent Benfry Smith. Alexander's Lady wife Dacey Irwyn was slain and tortured as a result of his declaration.
Alexander was given the command of the Crown Forces sent after Horas's death to return Dorne to the Seven Kingdoms after Tristeza Martell declared their independence. His forces quickly seized, Wyl, Lemonwood, Yronwood, Starfell and Sunspear early in the campaign.
After the battle of Sunspear, Alexander's close friend Ser Gilbert Flowers was slain by poisoned wine in the captured stock. The pain was too much to bear and he ordered the razing of the city in response. He earned the byname of Bloody Alex the Butcher of Sunspear for his actions there.
Alexander administered Dorne for three years as the Military Governor of the Kingdom until relinquishing the post to Lord Qorgyle the new Dornish Lord Paramount.
Alexander became the King's Hand in a surprise move after Roland Royce resigned from the post in response to the King's decision to restore the rights to Horas Martell. The decision was a tough one for the young general to make as he hated politics in the capital and had agreed with Roland Royce's Council, but in the end ultimately felt that the boy king needed a strong voice on his small council so acquiesced.
Alexander Irwyn died at the siege of Deep Den in a battle with the Basilisk's Army General.

7) Character Personal History: The son of the village blacksmith, Benfry was always more interested in stories of knights, maidens and castles rather than the more prosaic life of his father. At every opportunity he used to sneak out of the village with his friend Osmund, who was the son of the village wainwright, and play at fighting with sticks substituted for swords. As they grew older though, Osmund became more involved in supporting the work of his father and also became the apprentice of Benfry’s father. As such he had less and less spare time to go and play truant with Benfry in the woods. Benfry took to sneaking off on his own and imagined being a great knight as he played in the woods. One day he met an old tracker named Calwyn, whom he rather irritated by scaring off a deer he was hunting (he imagined it as the Black Knight and ran towards it with his sticksword). Calwyn soon took a liking to the young lad though and began to teach him the secrets of the forest, how to follow tracks, read spoor and stay downwind of the prey. This distracted Benfry for several years and he became quite good at sneaking around the forest unseen and unheard. However Benfry’s first love remained being a knight and one day an old hedge knight stayed over in the village tavern and Benfry followed him around in adulation, pestering him with stories. Eventually he pestered his father and the knight enough to allow him to squire for him and spent the next few years squiring for him as the hedge knight went from one low key service to the other. The old knight eventually died after a brief illness and was buried by Benfry who tried to remember some of the septon’s words as he committed the old man to the earth. He took up his arms and horse and became “Ser” Benfry Smith of Blackford Crossing. He left Blackford Crossing to take part in the Tourney at Casterly Rock. Much to his surprise he acquitted himself well for the most part and was taken into service by Lord Randal Lannister. However, a day or two later he was invited to participate in the Kingsguard contest. After an incredible contest few watching will forget, he amazingly defeated much more renowned knights to wear the white. He travelled to Kings Landing with his brothers and became embroiled in the revolt by Prince Andry Baratheon, managing to smuggle away Prince Rodrick from under his nose. After the losses in that battle, he was made Lord Commander of the Kingsguard and, at the behest of Lord Bettley, was soon after made Lord Regent of the Seven Kingdoms.
Suspecting foul play amongst the Small Council and the competing power plays around the young King Rickon, he formed a household guard called the "King's Men" tasked with protecting the royal family and under the personal command of the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard. This act, together with his removal from the Small Council of Horas Blackwood caused a bloody coup to be initiated by House Blackwood & House Martell against him. The King's Men were nearly eradicated and the Kingsguard annihilated and Benfry was captured and imprisoned in the Black Cells. He was rescued and managed to escape Kings Landing to organise the loyalist lords against Horas & Tristeza. Together they managed to retake Kings Landing and restore the King to the throne.
He later presided over the trial of Avery Baratheon, in his absence, and once he was arrested, he was personally responsible for his execution. He negotiated with Lady Martell for her return from exile under condition and her subsequent death as a result and tried to patch up relations with Braavos.
After the invasion from the West, he ordered Irwyn to engage the enemy at Deep Den but they were overwhelmed and unable to stop their march on Kings Landing. When the choice came, he chose to stay and fight and buy time for the King and Queen to escape to Highgarden. With a shade over 5,000 men he held the walls of Kings Landing against 61,000 invaders. They bled them mightily but were unable to stop the fall of the city, though 25,000 of the enemy were killed. He retreated to Maegor's Holdfast and there held out with his brother, Ser Jarmen Buckwell against the basilisk army, single-handing defeating 2 of their champions and their envoy before falling to the blades of their men.
8) Character Physical Description: Benfry is tall and broad across the shoulders. He has light brown untidy hair, brown eyes and has a light sprinkling of freckles across his nose.
9) Character Reputation: Benfry is Lord Regent of the Seven Kingdoms
Killed in Maegor's Holdfast by the Basilisk Army during their assault on Kings Landing (526 AC)
