Ah, I did miss that.
But it still doesn't make much sense to me, because I doubt the Royces would have those skills either. I had thought Aranya was a wilding, which was why she had it. The Royces may be descendant from the First Men... But that would have been thousands of years ago, they'd have slim to none left in the way of blood of the First Men.

Aranya was the child of a Royce and Hunter.
So she is only half First Man.
We really should of had this sort of argument like a year ago when they started getting First Man type abilities.
But Smith and everyone back then was alright with it so I don't see why it should change now.

It is pretty much de facto knowledge (as far as LoW is concerned) that generally people with First Men blood have had the potential to have the traditional old godsy/children of the forest abilities (greenseeing, warging, etc).

Yea, Aranya is much less than "half First Man", as it is clear the blood of the First Men was quite watered down in the Royces, as it would be in most houses to varying degrees.
But the books don't imply that someone needs to be "fully First Man" to greensee. Bran is set to be the most kick ass greenseer ever, and he's half Tully.

Yeah but his dad was a Stark, who would most definitely have more first blood in them than some Royce in the Vale who would have minuscule blood in the way of the First Men.

So? Tristifer.
It doesn't matter as it has long ago been established that anyone with First Man blood is allowed to enter some sort of Old Gods magic.
Plus it's a game so who cares.

I really just said, 'Oh, hey, Aranya's his mom. She had badass powers, I'll bet I could give Tyberion a little Greensight."

Behold, my next masterpiece!
1) Character Name: Lord Victor Frey
2) Character Age: 19
3) Character Nationality: The Riverlands
4) Character Byname:
5) Character's First (Choose 2 beginner skills, 2 novice skills, 2 apprentice skills, 2 noteworthy skills, and 1 expert skill): Beginner Music, Beginner Horsemanship, Novice Stealth, Novice Seduction. Apprentice Naval Battle, Apprentice Intrigue, Noteworthy Finances, Noteworthy Swordsmanship, Expert Battle
7) Character Personal History: A child prodigy, Victor had always insisted on mastering the crafts that made a good steward. Sparring with lesser boys in the day, decrypting mock codes from Braavos at night, the heir was determined to become a great lord. When he was a teenager, he would demand to be taken sailing. On calm days, he would remain in his cabin, calculating monetary lessons from his maester. Such powerful ambition rarely started so young.
On the eve of the Grand Council, Lord Renard Frey was found lying upon the rocks of the Green Fork. Above on the Crossing lay a note, expressing his terrible shame for rebelling against his king. His heir, young Victor, had already left for King’s Landing.
8) Character Physical Description: He is said to be identical to his grandfather Walder Frey.
9) Character Reputation: At this point, young Victor is shown nothing but respect and courtesy, which is merely a sign he hasn’t done anything particularly horrific yet. People may find the former lord’s death a bit odd, but none have cast aspersions on his heir.
10) Your AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ or email address (so other players may have the opportunity to contact you).

How can he be 23.
Walders heir son with my cousin would be like 20 or something now.

I don't think "resistance to poison" is a skill, Doran. If you mean you want your character to be skilled in curing poisons then that still probably fits under the Poison Lore skill. But I don't think your character can have a skill that offers an inate defence against poison.
