Hmmm the reason I asked is I just thought of a really cool character, but he has nothing to do with my current one, so I guess it wouldn't work.

And then Auron would die at the hands of a Faceless Man...

Hah, well good thing my character actually would have been a Reach Lord... Lord of southshield Island, in fact. Commander of around 6 war ships, which would be a portion of the Tyrell fleet. Lord Clayton Serry, nicknamed the White Rose, for the House Serry coat of arms that has a white rose in the center. What do ya think? Although, since Lord Clayton would be a serious character from another region then my own, it would be bending the rules. It was a nice thought for me though, and I did think about it a lot. I personally thought he was a cool character

Hi Everyone. Here's my character if no one has any objections.
1) Morax Bolton
2) 29
3) The North
4) None (sorry can't think of anything good)
5) Expert spear, Noteworthy warfare (does this mean tactics and strategy?), Noteworthy large shield, Apprentice swordsmanship, Apprentice unarmed combat, Novice history, Novice torturer, Beginner persuasion, Beginner intrigue
6) Burke a sellsword
7) A cousin to the Lord Lyas Bolton. He was born and raised by his father Rymer Bolton (younger brother to Terant and adviser until his death) at the Dreadford. At an early age he recognized that he was not cut out to be a part of court and found no interest in all the knowledge that Rymer had gained in his life. Instead he found himself enthralled by the teachings of Diers Snow the master at arms of the Dreadford. Daily he would train with Snow and hone his battle prowess both physically and mentally with books on the art of warfare of the Dreadford's library. Being scoffed at as a fool by his father and several other relatives only enforced his will to train. After his father's death Morax left the Dreadford and struck out with a band of sellswords accross the Narrow Sea led by Burke. Over the next several years Morax tested his skills on the battlefield and after rising to the top of the Black Twilight's through his strategic prowess felt that it was time to return to his home as it had finally reached him that Westeros was falling apart. He is only now returning having missed the war.
8) A man of greater than average height. He has black hair and eyes and a beard that covers most of his face. He is firmly muscled with scars that cover most of his body. He has cold eyes that don't miss much. He is also missing half his pinky on his left hand and has a large scar right under his hairline, which is grown long and tangled.
9)He was generally well liked amongst the rabble of Dreadford and his cousin when he was younger. However he made a name for himself in the Free Cities and he was not so well known that his reputation of tactical skill and ruthlessness got carried to Westeros.
10) kelgbarbarian@yahoo.com
Is there any other Boltons? Or have I picked a dead horse?

Seems cool to me.
To Auron there is already a Lord of Southshield and the NPC you thought of would be two powerful as he is a Lord of another faction so you could rebel stuff like that.

Welcome, Morax. House Bolton is not so much dead as brand new. Your second needs skills, but otherwise your character looks fine to me.

Exactly why I said it couldn't happen =D Besides, we need ONE thread with ONLY characters so people can know whats what, whose who, and who is not taken

I do think we should create a fresh thread with only active characters and skills, and no OOC posts. When characters improve, the player edits their original post instead of adding a new one. That would be the simplest way to check back on both your own and other players' characters when you need to. As of now, I have to wade through 40+ pages to find some of the descriptions.
I still think the NPC characters are fine in their own little folder down lower, though, NPCs aren't as important and are rarely lords.

Except for some of mine, I broke that 'Dont RP your bannermen rule' but whatever, they are related to Randal

In our posts in the new thread, should we have relatively up to date biographies of our characters?

That would be good and helpful to the new people.
