Hey, y'all. Hope this is ok.
1) Ryan Blackwood
2) 32 (I think, born in 482)
3) The Riverlands
4) The Ravenhammer
5) Expert: Warhammer Fighting Noteworthy: Horse-riding Noteworthy: Battle Apprentice: Axe-Fighting Apprentice: Charm Novice: Swordsmanship Novice: Stewardship Beginner: Oration Beginner: Politik
6) Waltyr Frey, 17, Ryan's Squire Noteworthy: Intrigue Noteworthy: Charm Apprentice: Dagger Fighting Apprentice: Translator (Bastard Valyrian of Braavos/High Valyrian) Novice: Ambushing Novice: Infiltrating Beginner: Swordsmanship Beginner: Battle
7) Born the Second Son of Lord Terrence Blackwood, he is the steriotypical "Knight in Shinning Armor". Growing up, he was always fascinated by the tales of the first Baratheon King, Robert I, especially his exploits upon the Trident. It was this fascination that led to Ryan picking up the Warhammer, and perfecting its art to a level were most consider him one of the best warriors with the weapon. In 507 AL, Ryan's father married him to Lysa Frey. At the time only 18 to Ryan's 25, Lysa is the eldest daughter of the Lord of the Crossing. While at the Twins, Lysa's youngest brother Waltyr Frey became enamored with his new brother-in-law. As such, Ryan agreed to take the 11 year-old back to Raventree Hall. Now at 17, Waltyr is a proper squire to Ryan. While the Blackwoods follow the old gods, Ryan will eventually have Waltyr knighted properly, according to the Seven that are the gods of the Freys.
Ryan has three children with Lysa, two boys and a girl: Quentyn (508-); Tytos (510-); and Rachyll (512-).
With the death of Lord Terrence, and the succession of Ryan's eldest, brother Warren, Ryan has moved up in the line of succession to Raventree Hall and the Blackwood Lordship. As such, he has been known to lay down his hammer and attend council with his brother.
8) Taller then most, Ryan stands a full six feet, or near enough that it makes no difference. He is muscluarly built from the long hours with his warhammer. Handsome and fair to look upon by all ladies alike, his only flaw is a crescent-shaped scar around his left eye, received from a Tourney.
9) Known as a typical "Knight in Shinning Armor", the ladies talk of him as the epitome of Chivalry. However, he is not called the Ravenhammer for naught. His skill with the Warhammer invokes talk of King Robert, for whom Ryan has held a fascination for for as long as he can remember.

This fascination has led to Ryan's undying loyalty to House Baratheon upon the Iron Throne. I wonder how that worked out when House Blackwood declared against the Baratheons and fought against King Callen at the Battle of Casterly Rock...maybe it's undying loyalty...as of recently. BTW, I'm just teasing, I don't expect a noob to know all of the details in the long ago backstory.

Looks good to me- though I think Horas may have RP'ed a little for Ryan and therefore already decided a few bits of his character.

I was doing a quick-search, and all I could find was him RPing Warren and Graham, his older and younger brothers...as for the Loyal Baratheon...I had thought it was the Baratheon's who made them Lords Paramount of the Trident, so naturally...but yes, I missed the Blackwoods declaring for Targaryen(?)

I think he wanted him more Warren-ish, but this works too. We're going to have to work on his "undying loyalty" for the Baratheons if he wants to be one of us though.

It was pretty minimal stuff, really, I don't think it should be a problem (was it Ryan that came to chase my army out of Harrenhal?). The character looks good to me. It's nice to have someone break away from swords for once. As for that Battle at Casterly Rock, Randal, it was the Royces, Blackwoods, and Lannisters (along with the Dondarrions) teaming up to get rid of Callen/Callen's father the first time. It's good to remind Callen of that every once in a while, just to keep him in his place . He doesn't want us to turn on him again...
