How are you related to Callen? Sorry, I don't know all the family trees, even the Royce one.

I want someone fat, like Varys fat, that would be fucking tight, there's not enough fat people in this game. Everyone has an "atheltic, slim, body", except mabye Randal, I've always thought of him looking like Kevin Lannister.

I can't help you with that. Emelia's been losing weight lately. ^_^

The Conningtons actually rebelled against the Baratheons about 20 yrs. before the game started. I don't think they intermarried. Not sure if they're the best house to use.

I think people on this forum want to escape from their real bodies, Callen, not perpetuate them. xD

Yeah. Also, a novice Maester won't have much to do till he forges his chain. There's been nothing done in the Citadel RP-wise, AFAIK.

We really should be more inclusive. I mean, how long has it been since someone posted on the wall?

I just thought that the second has the same skills, but let`s try:
Noteworthy Fighting( Mace), Noteworthy Mounted Combat, Apprentice Scouting, Apprentice Ambushing, Novice Charm, Novice Strategy, Beginner Negotiation, Beginner Archery
And I changed one of Marten`s skills:
Character Skills: Expert Mounted Combat, Noteworthy Swordfighing, Noteworthy Charm, Apprentice Strategy, Apprentice Oratory, Novice Leadership, Novice Ambushing, Beginner Stewardership, Beginner Intrigue

I just think Callen's wanting a gross "Jabba-the-Hut" type character. No idea why but those in power often develop unhealthy fetishes... Oh, and good call on the skill change. Singing's a wussy skill ;D

Aren`t skills like Charm and Persuasion covering a bit of the same ground, though? I assume that you can create diffrent skills with slightly changed focus.

Yes. Basically you can group most skills into a few main categories: Combat (Sword, Dagger, Fist, Axe, Spear, Bow, Horse-riding, Sailing/Seamanship) Command (Strategy, Command, Ambush, Leadership, Stewardship, Naval Combat) Persuasion (Charm, Oration, Sing, Intimidation, Intrigue) Stealth (Poisons, Potions, Stealth, Pickpocketing) and lastly "Magic" (Greenseer, Warg, Flame visions) which is out there all on it's own All of these have slightly different focus. Stealth can be used to sneak around unseen but won't help you poison someone, for instance. When deciding skill use, the GM can take into account multiple skill combinations to help, for instance using Horse-riding, Spear-fighting and Shield-Use, to give you bonuses when you charge into combat or for the joust. Quite how this is done is on his discretion though so I don't know all the ins & outs of it

I didn`t think about shield-fighting, for me it makes sense to have one melee skill and just specify favourite weapon. I am also not sure if Stewardership and Leadership couldn`t be one skill.
Some people have Literacy skill, does it mean that my character cannot read or write at all without it?
Thanks for help people!

Well you can kind of just play it by ear a little really. Most people (myself included) just have the 1 combat skill which is used for fighting. I think it's pretty much taken as a loose 'rule' that if you're noble-born you can read & write. All the characters are I think so that's not a problem. There can be subtle difference between skills. Using the two you mentioned, Stewardship is usually meant to mean the running of an estate or fiefdom and leadership more of a battlefield or 'people' skill but it is very much splitting hairs so I wouldn't get too worried about it.
