7) Born to Falgon Greyjoy and his wife Miesa. After his father's death, his uncle Balor, upon taking over, gave the young Seth an ultimatum. He could either renounce his claim to Lordship of the family, and foster himself with a faraway House, or be killed on the spot, as well as his mother. Seth chose to leave Pyke, and his inheritance behind. He was given a generous amount of money and a train and guide to arrive at the home of the Grandisons.
For the next few years, he was raised as a Grandison, coming to support those that they supported and opposing those they opposed. During this time he met his friend Mortimer Pyke, a flamboyant bastard youth who rescued him from a near-fatal attack from a wild horse. They became fast friends, and over the years they made a pact, calling themselves brothers, considering the circumstances behind both of their families.
When Seth turned fourteen, he became the squire of Giles Grandison, a Knight of the Kingsguard. It was shortly after that Mortimer drew an interest in mummery and bardism. So both youths were on thier way in their futures. So Seth began competing in tournaments, raising high marks in Archery and even winning a few archery bouts. As it stands, he is a hopeful for becoming a Knight, and it is in his greatest ambition to join the Kingsguard. He currently supports Callen as King, and admires his mentor, Ser Giles more than any other man.
He currently does not keep in contact with his Uncle Balor. His mother is in declining health. The maesters call it "Salt Plague", a self-defeating disorder of the mind when one who grows up on the sea is deprived of their home. He blames his uncle for her poor health but is as of late, a bit apathetic to her illness. His mind is confused unto his loyalties, especially considering Lady Grandison has been a better mother to him than Miesa Greyjoy ever was. Let us see how his story unfolds.
8) Tall, around 6'1 or 6'2, broad shouldered, with short, wavy, brown hair and sideburns. Muscular yet still quick, his fingers are thick and strong, allowing him an expert control over the flight of his arrow. His appearance often makes others question his age, but he is in fact sixteen, a full year younger than Mortimer, yet he looks older.
9) Since his arrival, he has placed well in tourneys, usually grabbing a top slot in the archery competitions, and doing of medium performance in the brawls and sword fights. His position as Ser Giles' squire has earned him some recognition among the tourney communities as well as in court, and he is a welcome participant to the games. Other than that, he is occasionally whispered about between maidens concerning his refutation of his inheritance and what a shame it is. Most of the other inhabitants of the city do not generally know or care about the youth's past. He is a charming youth, charismatic, yet in private he is quiet and sombre. Quite a mummer in his life, showing the public chivalry and gallantry, while remaining dispirited when alone.
10) My AIM is Atra Quies.
EDIT: Misspelled Kraken.
