"No, I haven't, though I was told better to delay with that meeting until I know more about the situation here. I was told he is quite rude sometimes. Of other people I know here, there is my friend, Denyo Volentin." he gestured to the bravo

"Of course, Mister Volentin," Dudley said, turning to the Braavo with a warm smile.
"What is your background?"

"I see," replied the ambassador with a look of slightly irritated perplexity aimed at Lyn which suggested he didn't at all.
"Well, friends, I'd hoped that I'd see you today for I have something to tell you. I feel it expedient that we all, as an office, pay the Sealord a visit as soon as possible. To make our arrival known, as it were. Will this be possible for you - for you both - to attend tomorrow? I hope to hold an engagement here for as much of the Braavos nobility as we can later in the week. That will be where we make our first diplomatic inroads, but for now we simply need to make our greetings. What do you say?"

"Of course lord Marbrand. And forgive Denyo, he knows not of the Westerosi courtesy." Denyo smirked, but Lyn continued "I set out an investigation about all the greater nobility of Braavos and I hope to have results today."

Dudley's expression was warm. "So soon? Very impressive ser. Your initiative is clearly not to be underestimated, nor your capacity for 'diplomatic' matters. It seems I could learn a thing or two from you."
He inhaled and sat up straight. "Right! I think that's about all I needed to discuss with you for now. Like I said, if you come around here tomorrow and we can travel to the Sea Lord's Palace together." He smiled and rose from his chair, in a way that suggested they should do the same thing.

Lyn smiled back at him, though Denyo looked like he was just about to vomit "Well, I thank you for your time my lord. If you ever need me, send a servant to my manse, or to the Antaryon palace. I think I will split my time between the two. We will be here tomorrow morning and then go to the palace." Said Lyn "Have a nice day, lord ambassador." The two exited the manse

Dudley saw them to the door and then went to check up on how his family were adjusting to their new home.

A man in a long black cloak is sitting in front of the door to the Manse. He is smiling and sharpening a dagger.

"I am Pilliox the Spy." He said warmly, flashing a gap-toothed smile, "And I am here to pleasure your master's ears."

Dudley frowned. "Bring him up, but have the guards disarm him first. If he kicks up a fuss, I shan't see him. Make sure one of the guards accompanies him up here. I'm interested to hear what he has to say - or even what he wants to know."

Lyn was in the office at the time, just discussing some strategies with Dudley.

"I am Pillox the Spy, Master Marbrand, and I have come to sell you my services." He winked broadly at the man.
