Thatcher shrugged, "He felt it an affront to a fellow warrior, yes."

Antario nodded, "How did Frey react? If I recall correctly, the last person Rodrick hit turned it into a fight."

"He bore it with a smile." The man replied.

"How utterly boring." Antario said, fairly disappointed. He had found the King a good source of entertainment for boring bureaucratic days. He looked around at the decorations and in the room.
"If I had a copper for every piece of gold in this place, I'd be able to pay off Rodrick's debts." Antario said offhandedly.

Thatcher laughed curtly. "No you couldn't. Unlike gold, debt can be conjured out of thin air. How do you find the city, Lord Yronwood, a superior climate to Dorne? I understand the heat can be deadly to those who haven't been... born into it."

"However, debt cannot be unconjured." He replied. "King's Landing is a much different climate, I admit. And you're all very unusual people." Antario said with a smile.

"Yes, well it is very fortunate that I am acclimatized to the atmosphere of King's Landing. Were I at Starfall I should very likely catch some unfortunate Dornish illness and die." Thaddeus said, without a trace of irony.

"I would think you'd die of dehydration long before you reached Starfall." Antario jested.

Thaddeus snorted. "I'd probably arrive by sea, like it last occupants."

"And you'd be carried off with the tide, much the same." Antario replied.

Thaddeus held his head between his finger and this thumb in the expression of a man who has come down with a terrible headache.

A very tall man in green and gold enters the ballroom, looking about interestedly. Ser Byron Oakheart had never been to the capital before and truth be told he found it somewhat lacking compared to Oldtown. This manor, however, was quite oppulent -- albeit in a somewhat ostentatious manner. Its occupant obviously wished to advertise the fact that he was richer than sin.
Seeing a break in the conversation, Ser Byron approaches a pair of men (one Dornish; the other blond and gangly) and says, "Excuse me, Sers, but could I trouble one of you to point out Lord Lannister?"

Antario turns to the man, "New to King's Landing?" He asked, smiling.

"Indeed," Byron responds. "My apologies. I am Ser Byron Oakheart."

Antario nodded. "Yes, green and gold, the Oakheart colors. A pleasure to meet you, Ser Byron. I am Lord Antario Yronwood," He said, holding his hand out.
