7) Character Personal History: Benjen was raised by very prideful and stern parents, with prickly senses of honor and justice. Benjen accepted his parent’s ideals as a young man, but as he grew older became more aware of the world around him, the war with King Rodrick acting as a final rude awakening for him.

Benjen was raised with war the primary lesson from the Maester, and he happily poured over the texts about battles and sieges, especially enjoying the trips to Winterfell to read rare tomes on war. Even with so much time spent on studying Benjen always made sure he had time to spar, one of his favorite pastimes.

Benjen has always been self-reliant, always searching through books for answers that the Maester could very well have given. This self-reliance led to great ambition in Benjen, and he has always wanted to become a great lord, general, and warrior.

Benjen’s late Lord father died in the late stages of the Rebellion against King Rodrick, and even though the loss hurt him, Benjen hasn’t allowed it to get in the way of his ambitions.

8) Character Physical Description: Benjen is of medium stature, standing at five foot ten with a lean build. He has medium length brown hair which is kept loosely tied behind his neck with a green ribbon. He has green eyes which always seem to be deep in thought and observation.

7) Character Personal History: Dorren was born second, payed attention to second, taught second, and always lost the sparring matches. However, he was fairly content with this dull life, as he was lazy and sluggish. As Dorren got older he became more active and excitable, although not nearly as much so as his brother Benjen.

His whole life Dorren has been in the shadow of Benjen, never quite as fast or strong, never as good at sparring, and never quite as sharp of mind and thought. However, Dorren quite liked the dark and unknown, so he didn’t so much mind being in Benjen’s shadow. This led to him being Benjen’s right hand man, and ofttimes accomplice. When their father passed away and Benjen became Lord of Torrhen’s Square he appointed Dorren his steward, a position he felt was like the Night’s Watch fighting Wildings, or Reachmen bedding Reachmen. Dorren took to this task with his usual enthusiasm, depressing the servants of Torrhen’s Square, but always keeping them going.

When Dorren was little he would have bizarre dreams, but he always passed them off as just make-believe. For a few years they went away, until Dorren was in his late teens, when they returned. He finally confided in Benjen about his bizarre dreams, who quickly recognized them as green dreams, and taught him all he knew about them. Dorren grew to quite enjoy his crazy dreams, even more so than before.

8) Character Physical Description: Dorren is fairly unremarkable, standing at 5’8” with a skinny build and plain face. He has green eyes, short brown hair, and a short beard. He wears the green and brown of House Tallhart and often wears a dagger.

9) Character Reputation: Dorren is known, or rather unknown, for being fairly dull and unremarkable, and often depressed.
