Loren, Brandon and Owen head towards the address given to them by the guild members, looking for clues in the Wild Fire robberies. They stop in front of the home and see if anyone is around.

The house is abandoned, but the neighbors, curious to see so many highborn in their neighborhood, come out and peer at the nobles curiously.

Loren moves to check the door, if its unlocked he opens it slowly, if its locked then he puts his shoulder into it to try and force it open.
Loren looks over at Brandon and Owen to see if they have any interest in speaking with the neighbors.

Loren forces the door open.
The house is modest, though much larger than most smallfolk can hope for. Despite its owner's absence, no clothes appear to have been packed and no valuables or coin have been taken. In one corner Loren finds a thick coiled rope, and what might have been a gag.

Loren tells his men at arms fan out across the house looking for any notes, journals or other parchments of Edwyn or his daughters, that might provide another name to expand the investigation. Loren takes a closer look at the thick rope and the gag, trying to imagine what took place here.

Owen stands by the doorway, his hand hovering over the sword at his side, looking cautiously around. When he finds the area to be lacking of any terrible suspicious characters Owen goes into the house and tries to help Loren with the investigation.

Brandon walk over to one of the neighbours, "Good day, how well did you know Edwyn Barrow, good man?". A silver stag is dancing along Brandon's knuckles to loosen the man's tounge.

Edwyn's daughter appears to have kept a diary. It is filled largely with inconsequential gossip. The last entry is two days before Edwyn's disappearance.
The neighbor looks at the stag greedily. "I knew him well, m'lord," he says.

Finding little use in the diary, Loren tosses the book to Corbray. "I didn't know Mrs. Waters from down the road was sleeping around with the milk man," he chuckles, "unfortunately, there is nothing else of much use in there except confirming they disappeared.

The neighbor looks at the stag greedily. "I knew him well, m'lord," he says. "Did you notice anything strange going around here the last couple of days?"

"Aye, well..." The man begins, "I figured it weren't my place to butt in, that ol' Edwyn had some gambling debts or somethin' similar. But there were some shady characters goin' in and out of Edwyn's place like they owned it, a little before he disappeared. Nobody I recognized, but one of 'em came a lot, seemed to be the leader -- he had no teeth, you couldn't miss him. 'Course I figured it wasn't too serious, as Edwyn kept going down to his work for a while after they called on him. But now that I think about it, I never saw his daughter leave the house after the men came the first time. That's a bit odd, she was always runnin' around the city."
The man looks at the silver stag again, pointedly.

Loren nods, the scene inside the house confirmed what the man said. "Did you see Edwyn or the daughter leave and any idea where they may have went to? Also any idea where we could find this toothless man?" Loren says taking out his coin purse and jingling it a little. "We would like to speak with him and if you can find him we would pay for the privledge."

Brandon gives the man the silver stag and then another to answer Irwyn's questions.

"Didn't see no one leave," the neighbor says. "And I couldn't tell you where the toothless man is, but I'm sure I'd recognize him if I saw him again. Probably he's somebody's muscle in the stinking underbelly of this city." The neighbor coughs. "Not that I'd know anything about that. Good, law-abiding citizen of His Grace, I am."
