In one of the King's private gardens his veranda is reserved for beautiful woman and close friends. There are guards on all the entrances who do not permit casual visitors.

The King enters, and lunges onto one of his divans. Reclined he barks an order at a servant, "Fetch us some wine, and some light food, and then leave us in peace."

Lady Leanna selected a divan not far from Rodrick, but it gave enough room for the other two to sit beside the King.

Petra sat down next to the king, but looked at Haley, and left room for her.
The King looked around the room and smiled, "Before I was king, but right now I think I am the most envied man in King's Landing, if not the realm."

Haley sat, and stared hard at her hands, almost unwilling to look at the King.

"Yes, I know them quite well. Thank the Seven they take after their mother not their father." Petra replied, with her eye's flickering to the king for a moment, "I would love to come and dine with you and yours."

Petra smiled at her, "I too think it will be a very interesting evening. I can not wait for it to arrive." She thought for a moment, "Perhaps your brother-in-law, the bastard, would like to escort me. It is not appropriate for a lady to attend such an event alone." She laughed to herself.

Petra nodded but before she could speak the King roared, "Lady Dawnrose, I am not going to bite you." He rolled his eyes and stood. "I know my reputation, and most of it is deserved, but I will not harm you. I swear." The King crossed to the other divan, and slide Leanna and Blair apart and squeezed down in between them. Draping an arm around both of their shoulders he looked to Lady Royce, "I am sorry, but apparently your friend thinks I am going to attack her like a savage dog at any moment." He laughed and rolled his eyes comically.

"Oh" said Rodrick rather dumbly, "Well Lady Dawnrose, I apologize if I scared you." Then looking to Blair he asked, "You are married to Brynden right... that makes you my sister something or other. Yet I do not think we have spent much time together." He smiled, "Were you too shy? Cause I really am a nice dunderhead."

"More then just deer." The King replies laughing. His left hand subtly cupped the boson of Lady Leanna.

Petra laughed and looked Blair strait in the eye, "I never hunt in the woods, but I do hunt in the city. Quite often actually." She chuckled and added, "There is nothing like the feeling of the arrow plunging deep into its target, and hitting that bulls-eye exactly. mmmmmm Pure Bliss." Her voice was a little hoarse as she finished.
Rodrick barked out a deep laugh.

Petra chuckled deep in her throat, "Myself I like to hunt a harder prey. Snakes. If you are a horse back they are impossible to see in their holes. To find them you must get down on your hands and knees and really look for them." She quirked her head at the end.
Rodrick spit out a gush of the wine he was drinking, and began to slap his knee his face turning scarlet.

"I am a master of snake hunting. I practice all the time." Petra's lips were quirked but her tone seemed serious, "I study their movements. How they speed up when excited. The manner in which the enter and exit their holes. Their grooming habits, apparently they need to be licked clean by a female." She said matter-of-factly.

Rodrick was rocking back and forth in his seat wheezing.
Petra raised an eyebrow and added, "No my dear... I do not think you do." Then raising a glass of wine to her mouth she drank.

Petra raised an eyebrow, "Well then forgive me for being so presumptive. Perhaps you can explain my meaning to the King. He seems quite confused."
The King held up his hand and shook his head, mumbling some words with his laughter.
