A large funeral parade for the King begins in King's Landing. It will be followed by the coronation (as per the wishes of the King, Aegon).

Lord Rhodri "Red" Royce leads a large contigent from the Stormlands, hand in hand with his wife, who was a cousin to the departed monarch. Of the men he leads, most shed blood to put Aegon on the Iron Throne, and they have a somber tone during the parade. However, they are clearly proud of the new King during the coronation, and are ready to look to the future.

Ser Donal trots behind the cortège with some of his leading knights, as Regent of Oldtown. Controverisally, at his side rides Gisella of Asshai, not his lady wife. He looks in perhaps too good a humour for a funeral.

Steffen Lannister arrives in Kings Landing, surrounded by his knights (some look suspiciously like mercenaries), who are led by Ser Harys Piper, a short man with a pugnacious face, who glares at anyone who approaches. Daena Lannister rides behind him, looking beautiful while being the picture of a mourning relative. Steffen manouvers himself so he is standing next to Maerys Targaryen. He deftly hands him a piece of parchment, without anyone noticing.
He then leaves the Targ, and rejoins the entourage following the parade.
