I am not handing over the Westerlands to a Crownlord I've never heard of.

It's a temporary arrangement.
Tyberion's had a Greendream which has convinced him that working with Rodrick, for the time being, is what must be done.
And we can always see about Lyn sorting out Massey.

Bah...
you're right, we should see what sort of man he is before sticking his head on a spike.
We need to make sure our big, scary generals are loyal to you. Myatt, Prestor, etc.

I think we need to just sit back and mull over the following fact - shit is going to kick off. Absolutely noone is happy, other than the King's cronies, who are but a select few.
With this in mind, what can we do to take advantage of the situation?

First, I would avoid the war path. Play the loyal lords, let someone else do the Braveheart routine. Then make sure all our lords and knight are loyal to Tyberion, so if we DO toss Massey out a tower, we're ready to roll and noone's looking at us.

That's what I'm thinking. Someone always makes the first move, and they bleed. The West's only real loss to come out of the last war was the loss of Cedric. Other than that, by staying out of things for so long, we came out fairly well.

This is what you call avoiding the war path?

Uhm...

Okay, I jumped the gun!

Massey is temporary. Baldwin will of course, be loyal to Tyberion, considering he's his half brother. And Lyn will swear his sword to Baldwin in the scenario I'm writing.
