Quinten approached the manor from an alleyway. He had been careful not to be seen on the way from the Red Keep. He slowly walked his way up to the door and knocked. It opened and revealed to men in Lannister guardsmen. The one pulled him inside and knocked him to the floor. After searching him the guardsman took his dagger and threw it on the floor. He then led Quinten up a flight of stairs and into a room. Before him stood two men. One he knew, Gathor Tyrell had been Callen's father-in-law until the annulment, the other he assumed to be Baldwin Lannister. Gathor looked him up and down and said, "Your Quinten of Duskendale, Callen's friend are you not? What business do you have here?" Lannister did not say anything but merely looked at Quinten.
Quinten bowed before the both of them and then handed Baldwin his letter. "My Lord His Grace King Callen Baratheon I has requested that I give this letter to you."
It simply read, "Baldwin, despite your treason against me it is of the utmost importance that you meet me in the godswood at the Red Keep tonight."
-Callen Baratheon

Baldwin had lurched forward at the words of Gathor, when the messenger had entered. Baldwin took the note giving the messenger such a look that the man's stomach grew sour. Staring at the note for several moments Lord Baldwin, looks to the messenger, "Thank you. You may leave."
As soon as his guards had ushered out the the messenger, Baldwin turned back to Gathor, "You are right of course. I wonder how the seven Kings would have done against the Targaryens. I wonder about that often."
Bowing to Gathor, Baldwin said, "I wish to continue this some time soon. You are always welcome at Casterly Rock. I have something for you." Baldwin waved and a servant present him with a elegantly bound book titled, "Legends of the Northlands." The servant holds the book open to the story of 'George the Northman, and his Mystical sister' for several moments, then closes the book and hands it to Gathor. Baldwin turned and walked from the room.

The night was dark and the manor was quiet but Piers jerked awake at a hint of a sound of chain mail. He sat bolt upright and his dagger appeared in his hand.
He heard a soft laugh and relaxed. He knew that laugh and to his happiness it sounded clear and whole.
"I thought we decided that finger dancing was not to be part of our courtship ritual, my love," she said. He heard a gentle rattling thud. Chain mail was being deposited on the floor. Then a warm body joined him in his bed.

Piers smiled in the darkness, sticking the dagger into the headboard, "Who is this? It is too dark. Caitlyn? Verrina? Polly?" Moving closer and wrapping his arms around her, "Ahhhh... Elspeth."
He laughed into the darkness.

"Oooh," she laughed, "Elspeth would love you. She might look like a doughty old crone but I've heard she's damn fond of a little slap and tickle, and she like's 'em tender just like you."
She rolled and encircled him, and began to move with exquisite slowness and tenderness.

Sounding a little strained Piers replies, "Does she have any teeth? I like it when they don't have any teeth."

Lilith laughed. "Sadly, Elspeth has an excellent set of teeth, tis Lady Annanicola you want if you want that full gum action."
After more laughter, more play, more tangling of limbs, a quiet time came. She listened to him breathing evenly, the only sound in the house.
"Thank you, my love, I needed so very much to laugh."
He looked into her eyes.
"I leave at dawn for the Vale, I will start there. I know not where there after but a raven to my family in the Vale will eventually get to me."
She grinned. "Do drop by if you have time between Caitlyn, Veirrena, Polly, Elspeth, and Annanicola. I'll show how this art should be done."

"Now that sounds like quite the party." Piers grinned, "I will think of you often, and not once will you be dressed. I think I will miss your taste, and feel the most." Looking at Lilith with a sad smile he licks his lips. Opening his mouth for several moments he closes it with a click.
Shaking his head slowly, "You take my words away. No one has every taken my words away. With out physical shoving some sort of gagging device in my mouth."

Lilith kissed him long and hard, tasting him in return, and then returned his sad smile. "I'm keeping just a few of your words as souvenirs, I'm sure you'll find others to replace them."
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Be happy, my love, do what you need to do to be happy."
With that, she opened her eyes, stroked his cheek softly and put her chainmail back on.
"Goodbye, my love."

"Never have I thought chain mail so erotic. Next time leave it on..." Realizing what he said, he groans and stands.
Opening his mouth, and then closing it, he sighs. After repeatedly doing that several times. "I don't know what I am so afraid of. I think I love you." He winces when he says that, "That didn't come out right. It felt forced and I didn't want that. But I really can't take it back. Just know it is not forced or anything... A second ago I can not speak, now I can not stop."
"I do though. Too." He forces his smile big and weak. "Good bye"

Lilith wasn't sure whether she was about to laugh or cry. "Once again you make me feel alive as I have never been before. I shall treasure those particular words, including your jumbled apologies, above all others I have stolen from you. I love you, oh light and warmth of my life."
A pink tendril of dawn began break the darkness they had shared. She kissed him one last time and climbed out window.

Several months later a raven arrives for Piers.
The brief note said "You are warmth and life."
Also enclosed was a handkerchief. Stitched in the corner was a dark haired woman in loose peasant garb with a visibily swollen belly.

Another raven appears a few months later. No message attached, just a handkerchief. On it is a baby with wisps of dark hair and bright, bright blue eyes. Underneath, in fine embroidered letters, is the name Petra Elana Rollins-Stone. Around the border of the handkerchief are small beetles and spiders.
ooc: Jack, I'll take Bastard Names for a $1000.
The board says: Rollins-Stone.
Buzz....The question is "What do you get when momma is a Royce and daddy is a Beetle?"
