Dear Lords of the Riverlands,
We fought long and hard against King Rodrick under Lord Pieter Tully, who had not even sworn himself to the rebellion, but only followed justice. And while our army was separated and weak, Cedric Lannister took Riverrun for himself and imprisoned Lord Tully's family. Gariss Stark marched south with his army, and brought Lords Frey and Blackwood to his side, claiming the northern Riverlands greedily for himself, under the ruse of 'helping the Riverlands'.
I have spoken with King Rodrick, and I have folded from this now Seven-cursed and twisted cause. I suggest that all Riverlords do so also, especially Lords Blackwood, Frey, and the other Lords who sided with Gariss. He is nothing but a greedy man, first claiming kingship of the North, and then stealing the Riverlands away for himself, so that he could use us as a meat shield against Rodrick when he came.
Lay down your arms, my fellow Lords, and kneel to Rodrick. It is time that we stand together and rebuild, as one Riverlands.
