With the Tyrells now having sworn their fealty to Aegon, Rhodri has a raven sent to Highgarden to notify the 1,500 Stormlanders left there to return the castle to Tyrell rule, and join his force in the Stormlands.

Aranya and Selwyn ride through the gates of the Red Keep and Aranya hears the anxious muttering of Targaryen soldiers.
"The King's bedridden?" she echoed in a quiet voice. "Well, I seem to have arrived at an interesting time. Aegon's ill, a worm is bedding his daughter, there's a snake in the marketplace and the little princess has gone missing. My, my."

"Mayhaps this is a good thing. Aegon showed no fondness for Breyn -- not that I blame his highness -- perhaps his son will be a more rewarding liege lord", Selwyn said. "As for the Worm, he is a far more clever man than I thought when I first met him. Perhaps I should meet with him again."

"Now that he's Lord of Riverrun, it wouldn't be wise for us to insult him," Aranya admitted as they dismounted. "Although I do hate fawning. But it would be fun to see this Prince Aemon and our Breyn rubbing shoulders." She put her arms around Selwyn and said softly, "But I'd have a lot more fun rubbing something else right now."

Aranya and Selwyn Stone disappear inside the Captain's quarters in the Tower of the Hand. While Selwyn had initially been given a cot in the Redspear's antechamber, with Rhodri away from town he had taken over the larger bedroom. With this very purpose in mind.

Prince Aemon hears that Lord Royce is looking for him and invites the Vale Lord into one of the heir apparent's private gardens. He greets Breyn with a somewhat informal and cheerful 'hail!'.

The Prince's face looked obviously saddened, "He is not doing his best...I fear for his fate."

Lord Breyn puts ahand on the Prince's shoulder. "I am sorry to hear that. Your father is a great man. And what of your sister, Daena. Is she happy in her marriage with the Worm?"
