Outside the Red Keep great crowds grew when the word of House Targaryen's landing had spread. Both protestors and cheering crowds gathered outside the pale red stone walls.
At a nearby stone building two cloaked and hooded figures stood against a wall, their faces shrouded in shadow.

Lady Lilith sat in her chamber contemplating being back in the world of silks. She needed assistance fast. Elspeth Stone was needed in Kings Landing asap so she sat down to write a message to be sent by raven.

Elspeth's trip was fast and brutal but she arrived just in time to help Lilith prepare herself and others for the trip to Casterly Rock for the wedding. It seemed the King was going to send a significant contingent of lords, ladies, knights and men at arms to the wedding. Perhaps the plan was to eat Casterly Rock out of house and home.

The procession of lords, ladies, knights and men at arms left Kings Landing at Dawn for Casterly Rock. Lilith stayed with the lords and ladies of the court, translating when necessary, introducing these foreigners to their new land.

When Rhodri Royce arrived in King's Landing some months before, he was a landless, unknown second son trying to find a bit of glory, climbing off a leaky tradeship in Flea Bottom. Today he returns to King's Landing a part of the victorious army, a cavalry captain. He rides in on Javelin flanked by his closest riders with his head held high and his heart bursting with pride.
He returns to his quarters in the Tower of the Hand and seeks out his wife.

Becca Targaryen Dondarrian Royce curtsies before her lord. "I have heard much to make me proud to be a Royce," then her voice breaks slightly, "And I am damn glad to see you."

"And I am most happy to see you!"
Rhodri and Becca do their best to make Roycelings. After the fact, Rhodri says, "Pack your bags -- we're going on a trip."

Her husband might be young but he made a fine partner. She had heard that men returning from war often fathered sons and wondered if today they had made an heir. She hummed contentedly as she packed both her women's gear and her armor. The Stormlands was a contested territory.

Rhodri hummed to himself. He hoped he had made a son today, and hoped that someday he'd own something he could pass to an heir. While he was heir himself to both Runestone and Blackhaven, he was unlikely to inherit either -- both were ruled by young men with time yet to have sons. Rhodri Royce was a landless knight, and only a strange twist in fortune would change that.
As for Blackhaven, it was now in danger from the opportunistic Dornish, and that could not be allowed. It was the Seat of the Hand to the King, and to have it fall to the rebellious Rhoynar would be an embarrassment to the new King.

The Tower of the Hand and the marshaling ground out front was suddenly a hive of activity once again. Ser Rhodri Royce was once again in armor, with his horsemen and much of the Songlord's foot prepared to return to their home to the Stormlands. However, this was not just an army on the move -- the Lady Becca Royce, with her attendants, was joining her husband.
The homebound Stormlanders were joined by a large company of hardened Valemen.
As Rhodri rode Javelin through the gatehouse, a guard asked "Off already? The war is over!"
"The war may be over, my good man, but duty must come first. I am now Castellan of Storm's End, and the Stormlands must be safe."

Lady Becca rode, keeping good time with her husband's troops. The air felt good against her face, too long she had been shut inside waiting for ravens to tell her news of other places. Stormlands would be the next battle.
