An open letter is sent out across the Riverlands north of the Red Fork.
To the Noble Lords of the Riverlands,
I offer you all an honorable place in my kingdom. Lord Frey and Lord Blackwood have both sworn fealty, and joined us, in hope that the rest of you will do so also. Lord Frey has been names Lord Paramount of the Northern Riverlands, and Warden of the South.
We offer you strength and unity in a land that lie in ruin and sorrow. I would see that your liege lord, Pieter Tully, did not die in vain. I would see that the strength of the riverlands is returned and those who trampled over your innocent homes and lives will be brought to justice. I will see that the Tully house does not die crippled and injured.
Join us, and we shall be as a unity far beyond the rest of Westeros can understand. They fight among themselves, but our strength will lie in our support of one another. No longer shall we be divided, and no longer shall we have to suffer with no defence.
If you question my motives or my beliefs, come and speak with me, I will not deny you. If you wish to join us, you may also come to me. I will not deny you. We can and will rise to a greater unity.
