"King Cedric Lannister holds Riverrun and the Tully family, so I do not think you have a hope of becoming a regent of anything there sometime soon."
"We cannot offer you Regency, though we can offer you something better. Something a little more stalwart and lasting. The position of Lord Paramount of the Riverlands itself, paramount over all other houses of the Riverlands that join us, which will likely be all those north of the Red Fork," Zach says with a grin.

"Eh," Hendleton shrugs in a show of nonchalance. "Not that m'lord wouldn't mind being a Lord Paramount, but if you expect us to stick our necks out against a man like Rodrick... well, you had best sweeten that deal a bit."

"Rodrick fights among his own men, destroying his own force. The North would defend itself, should you join us," Zach said, looking around at the scenery, then back to Hendleton. "Lord Paramount is the highest honour a Lord can have, save being Warden of the South, which of course, is a title Lord Frey would hold."

"There are newborn everythings in my House. Lots of old ones too. And pretty much everything in between." Hendleton nods his head. "Why do you ask?"

"Just a curiosity. Lord Paramount of the Riverlands, Wardens of the South, and solid respect and support from your Kingdom -- along with the smart fact that we will face a broken and divided enemy," Zach says, reciting it all as if it were the weather.
"All that, we offer Lord Frey. And may we remind you, with such respect and honour, promises of welcome and intermingling are only destined."

"Just a curiosity, eh?" Hendleton chuckles. "Cause see, I thought you were asking because you were going to offer Stark's whelps in marriage to some good Frey girls. Silly me. I suppose you really don't respect us that much at all, if you aren't willing to make an actual offer and expect us to rely on some hazy wish wash about destiny."

"Ser Hendleton, you misunderstand me," Zach says, shaking his head somberly. "I couldn't well offer my own liege children to you. I would report such information, and let him decide. I had even promised such welcome and intermingling, if you recall.
"All I can propose on the King's behalf is the promise of a betrothal between House Stark and House Frey; specifics are unprivalleged."

"Well then, best send someone who has the authority to bargain specifics then, eh?" Hendleton shrugs.

"Likewise," Zach says equally grey.
"If you would, I would speak to your Lord, so we may be able to iron out these negotiations. I speak with my own King's words, so I am capable of any authority needed. Only friendship and consideration prevent me from offering a specific child, though I'll speak to your Lord on the matter," Zach smiles.

Hendleton yawns. "He's, ah, busy at the moment. And if I couldn't speak with his voice, I wouldn't be out here. And like I said, if you can't speak to specifics, you're wasting your time until I find someone who can."

"What more specifics do you require? Name them, so I can answer them."

"Both the Stark twins. In marriages, not betrothals. We'll find you some likely girls, high up in the line. With me so far?" Hendleton asks.

"Only one child will be available for marriage, ser," Zach says firmly. "They are newborn, and are not able to marry until they come of age."

Hendleton scratches at his chin. "Alright then. The eldest child. But there will be a marriage immediately. Betrothals are just such tricksy things. Wouldn't want anyone getting cold feet before the youngsters grow up to adulthood, neh?"

"Agreed, though a man and woman cannot marry until they are of age. This is why betrothals exist, Ser Hendleton."
